Let's be honest as much as I'm a fan of Rakim I would have to say he dropped the ball when he split from Eric. I bought two of his solo albums, I think one was called The Seventh Seal and the other was called The Master, I paid good money for both the CDs, and I would have to say that apart from a couple of tracks on both those albums, they wasn't worth my money,. I was very disappointed.

tony tookie Eric B wanted to Move on from Music, but Rakim wanted him to continue to make music with him, they both disagreed and went there separate ways. That's why they never talked for years, they didn't have beef, but Eric B wasn't interested. That's why.
