In my opinion moto is much good than nothing because it gives a charger and gives 2000 extra for exchange in which I just exchanged my old broken phone at that price .

@@MerekoNehiBatana I had a nokia 4.2 with screen discoloration and battery complaint and also back glass broken and also front glass broken and I mentioned Flipkart about below average and they told me 1000₹ will get for the phone and moto gives additional 2000 also then when the time of pickup I got 3000₹ discount 🙂but 259₹ including exchange pickup charge and safe packaging costed me 🥲I don't know y Flipkart takes this money 🥲

15 pro user here. Got 2a !! HDR in RUclips, high PWM- good for eyes in night sessions, OS is fluidly functional(albeit need more fonts), good accurate colors with DeltaE less than 2, good haptics. Cons- slow charging speed surely, less bassy speakers and camera is okay that's true for any 25k phone.

Using edge 50 fusion since launch. It works smooth and fine and I even dropped it once. Camera is good but a bit laggy. Overal I'm happy with my purchase

Another banger video 👏🏻. It's difficult to do the balancing act in creating a modern smartphone in this price range with as little compromise as possible. Both companies seem to have done a great job achieving that goal. Having said that, it's hard to forget that phones like Redmi Note 10 Pro managed to pull the same thing off at a much lower price, not too long ago.
On a separate note, it would be interesting to hear your views on the performance centric phones that are also making a huge splash in recent times. Would love to see a Poco F6 (30k) vs Poco X6 Pro (25k) comparison in terms of value for money.

it wasn't really a huge price difference, per say. RN10 Pro launched at 20k if I'm not wrong and now, Edge 50 fusion has launched at 22k, so not really a big difference.
@@tezagra The RN 10 Pro was launched at ₹15999 and a further discount of 1k in bank offers. However, the highest variant (8+128gb), which would be a more fair comparison to the phones like Fusion, did indeed cost ₹18999. So, one could peg this down to acceptable inflation.
However, both the RAM (LPDDR4x) and storage type (UFS2.2) were considered cutting edge back then. Today, a spiritual successor of that RN 10 Pro would have easily brought at least LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 to the table. And that phone (RN 13 Pro+), unfortunately costs 30k+. So, yes, these phones are good and well balanced, but companies are yet to recreate the magic of the RN 10 Pro which I still consider to be the best all rounder phone in recent memory.
@@tezagra The RN 10 Pro launched at 16k with an additional bank discount of 1k. However, the 8+128gb version did launch at 19k, so yes, one could indeed say not a huge difference when compared to today's Fusion.
However, it's important to remember that LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 were considered cutting edge back then. So, the spiritual successor of an all rounder phone like the RN 10 Pro would at least bring LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 after 3 years, right? This happens to be the RN 13 Pro+, which unfortunately starts at 30k+.
So, yes, while the phones like 2a and Fusion are indeed decent all rounders, we are yet to see the kind of value the RN 10 Pro brought to the table.
Also, these "new" phones already have stutters and lags with their cameras, straight out of the box. Not quite sure how that'll age for those wanting to buy phones for at least the promised 4 years of software support cycle.

Nicely done review, Harsh. I picked up a white 2a recently primarily because of the software experience and the distinctive design. It's unique without being garish. I will be using it with a case with a transparent back and black rim. In my view, the lack of a charger in the retail box is a huge disadvantage and makes the phone feel overpriced. The Edge 50 Fusion has a big advantage with the fast charger and IP 68 rating. The curved display is the ultimate deal breaker for me, though the phone does look good.

I think Moto is good at its software that's why they don't frequently give updates but Nothing dosent have that matured software that's y they give you more updates
All I want is safety and affordable features. I love both phones. I wish Motorola provides monthly security patches and 3 years os updates. Besides, low light in video camera need to be fixed, selfie over sharpness is a no no for many.
Moto is more secure even tho it doesn't have many updates

I am a Moto Edge 20 user and believe me the updates are slow but they are absolutely bug free and very much stable and not like Nothing OS which is fixing it's bug in the name of software updates. Moreover, Moto provides Security patch updates in every two months and none of the Tech Channel has given any Long term review of Moto phones. And to the cameras .. there was a time when it was the least competitive but now they are way better now.. and same gies for updates .. u will get faster updates and Nothing has just 3 phones under it's Portfolio unlike 30 different phones of Motorola. So please do note my point.

There are better ways to make requests, without making them sound like orders. It's not like these reviewers owe us every single video request.
Also, doing sound tests in videos makes no sense as there are too many layers in between that can impact the end result (the actual sound output from phone, the position and quality of recording mic, the compression of the rendered video, the compression from YT algorithm, the quality in which you play the video and lastly the quality of the listening device you choose to hear the audio from). Aapko actual device ka output kabhi ek YT video ke through sunaai nahi de sakta.
So, it's better to ask such questions to the community and hope that a user of the phone responds to your query, like the user above has done.

2a problem is plastic back..in long run when phone gets heated plastic would make phone worse
If you had bought the other variant of moto which comes with vegan leather, maybe your perspective have been changed cause it feels way more premium than the 2a and I personally think the glyph lights are for no use and there are lot of other moto features and gestures which are helpful which you have not mentioned....
Moto ain't gonna look premium than nothing phone 2a since phone 2a has iconic transparent design nd the symmetrical bezels lol.

If you can change your phone in 18 months, buy a Moto. If not, then Nothing. Moto software is good for around 12-18 months. Nothing will atleast give good software support for 2.5-3 years.
