@@JVeleta11 gobert is better at his peak, has better longevity, and is better in the playoffs even if he drops. Hes much better offensively and better defensively.
      Also from an accolade standpoint.
Rudy has more all star selections, all-nba selections (way more 1st selections), all-defensive selections (way more 1st selections), and more dpoys.

People forget what a great player Eaton was. Yeah he wasn't gifted offensively but man what a defender...a true rim protector...dude had 456 blocks in one season....Def player of the year twice...all he cared about was defense...u gotta love the way this guy played...he needs more respect...very underrated due to the lack of his offense..they definitely don't make them like him no more

I've met Mark a few times at the games. Each encounter, he acted like he remembered me (even though he probably didn't) and was very kind. I'm still so sad I won't be seeing him at games anymore. RIP Big Guy! 🙏

I've met him in person, he is really huge, his parents are tall themselves, dad is 6' 9", his mom is 6' 3" he also has two sisters who are actually "medium" at 5' 9" and 5' 8". Even though he is listed at 7-4, he sure looked a lot bigger than that!!

Mark Eaton was 7’4 with a 7’6 wingspan. Seeing these highlights, I can only imagine how many more blocks 7’4 Wemby would’ve had in that era with his 8’ wingspan. Considering way more points were scored closer to the basket.

Mark Eaton was truly a mountain of a man! He had both the height of Wem B and the size of O’Neal. He made the 6’11” Hakeem look like Michael Cooper, and made Kareem’s height unspectacular! He “walked through” a prime Robert Parish. 456 blocks in one season (still an NBA record) meant he averaged over 5 blocks a game 😮
