OMG I had this happen last night as I was leaving work. Turned the Jeep off and then back on. It ran fine and I was able to drive 30 miles back home. Then I did some searching and found this video. Sure enough my yellow/red wire was exposed and also a lavender wire. Thanks for posting this man, I wouldn't have known where to start without this video.
Few weeks back Replaced driver side rockers lifters and camshaft. Somehow the wire harness dropped down just like his. Turning into Lowe's jeep starting going into Limp mode and started going haywire Got code 1628, friend sent me this video. So I looked and did the same thing. Thanks for making video it helped me big time. It's fixed
WOW. This is exactly what my issue was, causing codes for camshaft position sensor, throttle position sensor, and oxygen sensor. Got lucky and it hadn't actually worn through any wires yet, just tugging on them. Put some new body clip straps on it, runs better than ever.
Little things like this can drive someone crazy and end up with shops charging them for other things not even broken. They packed things so tight it’s almost inevitable that this things happen
