Hey man, I’m not abandoning candlesticks, I’m trying to bring light to the power of volume and order flow. Footprint charts are just one expression of price action and volume. A lot of people have asked me about Footprint charts so I did a video on them explaining the fact that they are one expression of price and volume. There are many ways to view the same thing.
This would be very helpful especially when price is at the entry zone . So you just switch on the footprint stuff and confirm to gain more confidence .

stacey burke, al brooks, pips2profit might make things easier for you. im a profitable trader. and just looking out. from one trader to the other, orderflow is a joke. sure it works just like ema crosses work. but whats the percentage and probabilities youre actully left with? are they 90/10 setups with assymetrical RR? idts
16:09 - I dont understand when people say "More contracts Sold or bought". What do you mean by that? 1 contract sold means 1 contract bought, right? its always 1=1. Its not like I bought 100 contracts but you olny sold me 50 and i still get 100. It doesnt make sense. When prices go down or up its not the number of buyers or sellers thats moving it, its the willingness of participants to pay more to get in for a move up or the number of people willing to sell lower to get out quick.
I use order flow (market depth) for trading my country’s stock market much more than candlesticks bcs its more effective n less volatile compared to nasdaq.. but I trade nasdaq at night w candlesticks

How much is this applicable to Forex trading? I used to look at the volume when I was trading stocks... Now, with Forex it seems useless, since volume is so huge at any point in time. Ofc there's difference between London session and Asia session in volume and news releases, but in "regular hours" I think volume is irrelevant in FX...

Great content as always, Adbullah. You ever thought about using concentration on top of candle stick confluences? I thought of it as you were explaining the video, concentration would be (candle high - candle low) / (total volume). So say we have a wedge shaped pattern and we get to the end of the wedge the candles get small but we have more volume creating a stronger concentration until the point of explosion where concentration comes back symbol specific equalized concentration level. I might script it and try it out but wouldn't have thought of it without your input! Also, Part 2!!!

It’s important to note that tradingview is not very accurate in displaying footprint chart because they cannot display tick data. I tested it on NQ and it was only usable on cumulative delta set to a second time frame interval. Footprints lack detail in tradingview . Thank you for the presentation though
