Adam correcting himself by saying that global warming is an Earth problem, but not herpes implies it's a legitimate concern in heaven
When you sing about how hell is forever but dont say a damn thing about herpes being eternal beyond death.
I think he meant that herpes is a problem exclusively in hell, thinking that when Charlie said "our biggest problem" she was referring exclusively to hell, not a problem that heaven & hell share. Doesn't really make sense for herpes to be a problem that heaven would have.
In Helluva boss, Blitzo calls the succubi "std spreaders" and seem to imply that's the reason they go to the human world. If succubi can spread std, that implies they can have std. And if demons can have std, why angels couldn't?
Adam’s favorite food is ribs which is a reference to how Eve was created from one of his ribs
Also that black and white split during his song might be a reference to a music video called "Bad Apple" from the Touhou Project.
@@lynxfresh5214 heavily doubt it. The lyrics are completely unrelated from Bad Apple, and it's pretty clearly just referencing the lyrics of that part "The rules are black and white."

@@lynxfresh5214I believe you're right about the bad apple reference. not only is the shot framed the same as that specific moment in the music video (the black and white being a split down the middle of a character), but the character used in that shot is also someone who's job is to judge the dead and decide whether they go to heaven or hell.
and another funny thing is that, in that meeting, Adam didall 7 sins xD

He's voiced a lot of characters, the point of Spawn is that not only is it iconic, as well being a character with the Hell theme, but it's also a character they have a good chance of connecting the vocal performances since they've seen MK11 stuff on the channel and Spawn was DLC voiced by the man himself
He's also the voice of Keith David, the vice president in Saints Row

One thing I love is that it doesn’t feel like everything is put in for shock value. Yes there are things during the Happy Day in Hell segment that were unexpected the first time I watched it, but it didn’t take away from everything. It wasn’t like a “look what we got away with putting in here” kind of thing. It just felt like this is what the world is like. It’s not shocking, it just is what it is.
Brandon Rogers voicing Katie Killjoy was my favorite moment.
Also, I’m guessing he’s doing his Bryce TankThrust character who gives MAJOR Katie vibes

I see Charlie as a BatB's Belle and Leslie Knope hybrid thrown into a hellscape musical. She's adorable and tries to stay positive, coming off as naive since it's pretty much a world filled with people that are either crazy, cynical, or both.
I can say that I am hype to watch this series off you guys’ channel as it’s going to be one roller coaster of a ride with you both and the community 😄
Also this might be interesting to state that half of the VA are being Helluva Boss Crew. Like Katie killjoy is voiced by Brandon Rogers who done Blitzø and than Adam is voiced by Alex Brightman who is Fizz’s VA. So there are more but I don’t want to spoil the fun till later more characters are introduced. So I won’t spill the tea 😉

Adam is a Narcissist. To it's core, he is so toxic and at the same time so hilerious by being a jerk. All this potential for being a great villain.. and this is all about redemption. Worth a shot. But i guess all of this.. is a personal thing. I mean he is her mothers Ex after all. And Narcissists really don't like it to be confronts with reality.
"Angels don't make mistakes" ... that's where double standards and mendacity begin... But maybe there's more to it... maybe it's also an existential war and both sides are just trying to survive... Even not religious people (like myself) were saying after episode one about Adam and Lute "These are supposed to be the good guys..right?"...
Well.. the rules are never black and white. They are grey..and every other color in exsistence. But that was always the biggest problem for me when it came to religion.
Don't question the power of God, obey, renounce in the now, then you have in the after...
That's not free will... that's not omnipresent goodness and love. These are rules. Lot's of rules. And Life has no rules. Especially when it comes down to our emotions. And we all want to look up to someone who praises and loves us for what we doing. Charlie has an idea of true passion..and it is her destiny to safe all these souls.

You’re right the pilot helps, don’t get me wrong. It sets things up more but this was done in a way where if you haven’t seen the pilot you won’t be super lost which also allowed them to not repeat scenes in this front he pilot. 😊

So, Lillith isn't technically originally biblical. She, as a concept, was taken from another culture and story altogether, but was later adopted by several sects.
Later on, many books, including the one referencing her was removed due to not being a trustworthy source. (Mostly anything written later than 100 A.D. as there was no way the person writing it could have been there to whitness it)
That being said, Lillith as a concept, has her own long history, well worth checking out!

Q8:47 they actually didn’t turn the story on its head. In some versions of the Bible it is stated that Adam did in fact have a first wife named Lilith, then he remarried to Eve. So it’s actually accurate

Imo I still think it’s weird trying to redeem sinners for like heinous crimes but if their only sin while being alive was breaking a sin then I could see how they could be redeemed. But alastor definitely need to stay hes at
That's the thing the show doesn't address at all. The reason they all are in hell is because of their sins that are in complete opposition to heaven's virtues while they were alive. Instead, we focus on the sinners that have already made it to hell.
So, to me personally, the creator: Viv, really bs her plot so that it paints Charlie in the right with no flaw to her understanding of the entire situation she's fighting against. And it comes off as uncreative and the same bs plot that other storylines have done before.
It would have been better if the rulers of hell were doing the extermination instead, honestly.
True. But also, it depends if you think people are born evil or made evil. We think it’s a bit of both so not everyone is redeeemable or should be redeemed and not sure Charlie wants to redeem everyone (maybe she does because she is a super optimist). But if more people could be redeemed and go to heaven then hell wouldn’t be so overcrowded and need extermination 🤗😈😇

This show kinda came out of nowhere for me but I loved it. Charlie is adorable, I love genuine pure hearted characters like her that aren't just in the story to be a punching bag for a cynical writer. Charlie has a lot of room for growth but the show as a whole clearly believes in the ideals of compassion and empathy that her character represents. Also the ball-of-sunshine meets loveable-grump dynamic of Charlie and her girlfriend Vaggie is just cute.
I only wish the season had been longer. I miss the days when shows could get 15-20 episodes, especially a show like this that has so much potential for fun episodic stories.
Yup. Now 8 episodes is on the longer side as some are just 5 or 6. Feels like 10 should be the minimum for a “TV” show. 🤔

I can’t wait for you guys to see the whole series. I don’t want to go too far into it but from the first episode, you can probably tell why Adam is a sympathetic character and there is a video on RUclips theorising as much. Just know that he was the first man on Earth, effectively a King, and later the first human soul in Heaven, later becoming an archangel. We don’t have to like him but it makes sense that he’d be drunk on power. As for why he hates demons so much? Well his first wife betrayed him for Lucifer, and became the first human soul in Hell. I’m surprised that scorning Charlie for being the daughter he could have had was not the very first thing Adam did.
There’s also that little thing about corrupting his second wife and thus birthing generations of sinners afterwards. Remember that going forward.
