Nice! We need more little guns on 30 super carry. I can see it being good if I could get it in a gun I’d like.
This gun seems interesting, but I would really like it if Glock or Ruger made one.

Any plans for a "longslide" with a 4.5 in barrel?
We have a 5" Long Slide coming to market this quarter. We also have the 4.5" Threaded Barrel for the 9mm pistols. Given the velocity of the 30SC, we have not put a priority on a threaded 30SC Barrel... but, it could happen.

My 30sc Shield plus magazine is different than my 9mm Shield Plus magazine. The top of the magazine is wider on the 9mm so my 30sc rounds won't stay in the magazine. I'm assuming the 9mm PD-10 magazines already have a smaller opening, which is why there's no need for a different magazine for the 30sc PD-10?@@RobPincusPro

the PD 10 with a compensator in 30 Super Carry would be awesome for new shooters or women that are recoil sensitive
I'm glad to see more guns coming out in 30sc. So far, only the Shield Plus has been worth getting, and I actually bought it when they first released. The PD-10 is now on my research list. It should be a no brainer for the other gun companies to release 30sc models of the 365 macro, 43x, GX4, Max9, CR920, PSA Micro Dagger, etc etc.
How much different can it be from a 9mm gun than just a barrel, ejector, and magazine change?

I just want to draw everyone's attention to the muzzle flip (or lack there of)seen during the mag dump at the beginning of this video. Can a pistol be any more balanced than this? Good things happening at Avidity

Today's society warrants maximum capacity carry. 30SC is ideal in this respect. Go double stack on the next...PD20 so to say and I'll be in!!
Not sure which "society" you are living in... The one I'm in shows no evidence for people needing 20 rounds in a personal defense gun.... If you're foregoing concealment and carryability, why not just sling a rifle all the time ?
@@RobPincusPro I dont know about you, fellow shooter, but I do watch the news. These thugs are walking around with Glock 19s(15+1) at the minimum stuffed in their pants and they come in groups of three and four at a time. That more than justifies twenty rounds of 30 Super Carry

Is this a different magazine? Is it proprietary?
Our standard mags work pretty well at 11 Rounds with the 30SC Slide/Barrel.
A special follower in our standard mag allows for 12 Rounds !
I understand the 30sc PD-10 magazine is the same PD-10 9mm magazine, but I don't understand how. My 30sc Shield Plus magazine is different than my 9mm Shield Plus magazine, in that the 30sc magazine is more narrow at the feed lips. If I try loading 30sc rounds into the 9mm magazine, the 30sc rounds do not stay in because the 9mm mag's wider feed lips don't prevent the 30sc round from being pushed out through the top by the spring.

The 30 Super Carry should have been a long overdue update of the 32 ACP which was developed by John Browning in 1899. It should have also competed with 380ACP. It will not be successful as a replacement for 9x19, 357 Sig, 40SW or 45ACP. Horrible marketing on the part of Federal ... The cartridge should have been called 32 Super Auto and it should have been loaded to energy levels equivalent to 380ACP ... ~ 220 ft-lbs. Alot of people would have liked a new "old school" 32 pocket pistol with 380ACP power. Competing with 9mm Luger was a mistake, especially with the new high capacity compacts like the Hellcat, P365 and Shield+. Federal made the same mistake with 327 Federal competing with 357 Magnum.
Since it uses a 1911 9mm magazine, let me know when it comes in 22TCM.

Current price on federal site is $33 for box of 50 super carry versus $24 for a box of 9mm. No where near the same cost. Searching for best per cartridge cost for 30 super is mid 30 cents per shot. 9mm is like 18 cents.per shot. 9mm is sognificantly cheaper, and it mskes me wonder how he can say in the video that they lowered the cost to be the same as 9mm, but its clearly false.
I don’t pay anywhere near that price. Check sportsmans outdoor superstore. Under 20 a box all day. Literally half the cost don’t mislead people

But Why, .. Mr Pincus !! ... It's going away. It's doomed because not enough people will ever become knowledgeable about it. Worse yet, IT'S WAY to expensive compared to 9MM. Most people are worried about paying for the actual necessities of life, that have increased in costs through inflation, which isn't slowing down at all.
Actually, the price isn’t much higher than 9mm rounds today… it WAS more expensive when first released.
Rob, can you and the others that see this comment on here please reach out to Underwood ammunition to try to get them on board in making their very popular extreme defense round for 30 super carry? I think this would help to further cause this round to takeoff.
