Which is a much more difficult, extensive and broader skill to learn - Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Pardot Specialist and which is in more demand?
That's a question that requires an answer that's not so straightforward. Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is generally more challenging to grasp. Due to this, highly skilled professionals are harder to come by. However, SFMC Email Specialist only focuses on one aspect of the platform (i.e. Email Studio). Pardot Specialist is a great entry-level cert. There are demand for both SFMC and Pardot, however, it depends on your location as well as long term plan. If there are lots of Pardot customers in your region, then Pardot would be a good choice. You should also ask yourself whether you want to work for an end user or in consultancy.
@@OfficialSFBen I’ve asked this question almost a gazillion times to supposed salesforce experts (orgs and individuals) and get very little to no clear answer. I’m an Engineer currently, and have dabbled around skilling-up on salesforce for quite a while and feel a little more comfortable now with this answer Thank you! I’m thinking of both end user and consultancy.
is there anything that Pardot can and marketing cloud cannot? if an organization has budget they can go for marketing cloud seems like it is a superset of pardot
If you watch the video in depth, I make the name change clear, using both names (as people still refer to it as Pardot). You can't change people's habits from a decade plus in months.
The point is that the background music is too loud... if it was lower, it would be much easier to understand the speaker and not get so distracted by the music.
Excellent video clearly explaining the differences between the two but also showing how knowledgeable you guys are. Well done!
Thank you so much!
Great Video 👍 This would have been great to demo key features face to face so that we better understand abilities, strenght and wekness
Good call, thank you for your feedback! We'll try and deliver this in a later video.
SalesForce should learn from this video to sell value for hits platforms

Why do we still use the name Pardot if it was renamed to Marketing Cloud Account Engagement in 2022?

The background score makes it very hard to hear what is being said
Thanks for your feedback Nikhil, we'll take this into consideration so we can create even better content.
I can barely hear the music the vocals are fine
I like the music ❤
