Thanks for the tutorial ma’am
I have a question.I look forward to trying out this method, while shaping this skirt won’t the back be wider than the front ?how do we go about the shaping considering that we use a different hip measurement for the front and back?
Good question! At the center back, use pin to hold the difference BTW the front and back measurement( e.g hip 42 = back 22 - front 20 = 2" that you will old with pin @ centre back)before placing the hip measurement .
@ okay ma’am….thank you
Quite Interesting and straight to the point. Why didn’t you add dart to the front pattern Ma?Thank you so much for this.
No need anymore cor of butt contouring, and especially when dealing with soft texture fabric , I also noticed that it gives the dress this old fashion look
Does the calculations of the measurement work for a a smaller size
Thank u ma
You're welcome
Please did you add any inches to your normal length so the dress wouldn’t be jumpy??
Yes I do, I added 3 inches
Please how many yard can be used for the down only .thanks ma
5yards
Dear Lady Yinky Couture, first time watching your beautiful tutorial and please how many yards of fabric did you use for this project, please dear do make effort to ask pleaseeee
I used 4yards of velvet, you know it has a longer length than ankara,
@ oh thank you so much and right now am subscribing and you just gained a new follower 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you 😊
Please ma the 2 inches you removed from the front is it a standard measurement🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Yes
Pls is tha lace attached as a yoke or sewn together ?
Sewn together
But can we use this butt contouring method without making the back panel bigger?
Please reply 🥺
No way cause the purpose of butt contouring is to make the butt noticeable, and bring out the femininity, in some cases where the butt is small you can do hip padding to support the smaller butt.
@YinkyCouture ok
Thank you ma
Ma please what's the total length of the fabric you used, as I think it's important when making the extra length for the back. Especially when you do not want to join it.
60"
Pls how many yards of Ankara fabric can be used tp sew dis skirt
5yards
God bless you richly in Jesus name.Amen
Amen
Please don't understand u ma
Please back joining please i don't understand 🙏🙏🙏🙏
May the Almighty God continue to bless your hand work ma 😊I learned from dis tutorial thank you ma
