He would tell us his bag got stolen in the gym, yet he forgave and chose to look at it in a more empathic way and see how much he needed it! His choosing to look at it that way is like Jesus’ way. I believe if the thief got caught red-handed, he would let him go by sending him away with the word of love so the thief could learn. According to our society, this type of behavior is absurd and uncommon, but that action reminded me of what Jesus will do. Thank you, Lisa, once again. This made me really examine my heart and wonder what I would do in my friend’s situation.
