Spendid work Scotty! I was a college student when this first came out in 1981. You're right, Scott, this is a timeless piece of music and I'm glad you recognize that it is still as relevant as it was in 1981 at the height of the Cold War and the Peace Movement and disarmament movement in the UK and Europe. Well done . . . and then black nail polish is really rad!!!
I am pretty shure you don’t need a mask at home... but i see Darth Vader - so I understand :-) - by the way great Video and good basssound fits perfectly...
Thanks! Listening back to my playing here I'd have probably knocked the chorus effect down slightly, but it's pretty close to the original song so it fits well.
Pick is so much of the tone, too many people doing covers without a pick. Don't be afraid, the plectrum can't hurt you, I promise.
Maybe not physically, but my sensory issues (for some reason) really don't like using picks. It makes me want to dip my hands into molten lava

I can’t play bass (yet!) but this sounds very technically clean to an untrained ear! Thanks for sharing
Here from reddit! Also a bassist and fan of goth music. Cheers!

Ayyye, sounds great, dude!
God I wish I could play bass
I feel that way some days... I'll see someone super talented and think "God I wish I could play better"
Hey man really cool 😎 You should consider doing some of TheCramps material.
