As a City-fan, I’ve enjoyed every minute of Kevin since he joined us in 2015. His quality is out of this world, only behind Messi and Ronaldo these past years. He will go down as one of the absolute best midfielders in Premier League history. I fkn love the guy.

You don’t score 35 yard half volleys in extra time in finals, after just going down with cramp with just ability! Kdb is the closest midfielder I’ve seen to gerrard in terms of sheer ability. But gerrard was different breed altogether. I’d even put prime kaka better than kdb, world midfielder of the year one year, world forward of the year the next! Gerrard is englands best ever player, no doubt.

Before u compare these three both are three players who are on same lvl but kdb edges over xavi and inesta by a little.
By shooting ability, yes. Iniesta edges him out in dribbling, tbh. Everything else, de Bruyne is on track. He also has some skills and quite great dribbling ability, only that he doesn't use it much. I believe he's quite on that level for me, maybe a tier below Zidane.
Impossible to shower too much praise on this brilliant player.

With Lukaku missing most chances created by De Bruyne in 2024 Euros, it cost Belgium a lot, just like when Sterling and Jesus wasted his passes when they were at City. Just the way Haaland came in, if De Bruyne has a rich striker, Belgium could do a lot too.

Can play at any CM or AM position, can even play as deep lying playmaker... can pass through-balls, long balls and crosses like no other... works hard in every game... is present in big matches... tactical master... he is objectively the best midfielder in the world of his generation.
