- Have you bought a website or domain before? When my entrepreneur friends find out about some of the websites I have bought they want to know how I did it and how they can do the same.
Some of the topics I will be covering in this video are: questions to ask, how to navigate domain owners emotions, and get a deal that benefits you both in the end.
How to go from I want that to I own that - ask these two questions:
1. Who owns this domain?
2. Is it worth anything?
Questions to ask the domain owner:
1. How long have you had it?
2. Why did you buy it?
3. Are you planning on doing anything with it?
4. How interested are you in selling this?
5. Have you gotten any offers?
6. Have you gotten any recent offers?
7. What were the offers?

That was so much info! I’m trying to do my first one… I can see that they aren’t using the domain, but they are a larger company that included it in their starter package, but that’s not a company my client works with anymore. They are a bit sketchy and never gave cancel documentation. 😢

Can you do a video of when they do agree to a price what happens next and how do they transfer ownership to you?
You use an escrow service for that.
I am looking for a domian name that is taken and all their contact info is hidden is there anyway around this> ?

Use the "Registrant Email" field in the WHOIS results. This will forward your e-mail to the correct address.
