CCS does nothing for the extraction, processing, safe disposal of spoils, and most importantly the damage done to water. CCS glues additional significant cost to these industries. In addition building the gynourmous infrastructure requires more mines, dealing with the 'captured' pollutants injects MORE CO2 etc.. Bigger bang for the same money can be realized today using low tech, well understood systems, labor intensive retrofit of our current infrastructure. You wanna get serious? Plug and play multiple discipline retrofit of housing and commercial structures. We live in a 68 year old leaky two story home which is exposed to many weather extremes. Over last 8 years or so, using Robert's EXCELLENT coaching have cut our usage of electricity, natural gas in half. Our EV's have eliminated gas completely. Time for less talking, more doing. Thank you Robert for showing us a way forward.
My sister lives in Bristol in an apartment block in which she owns an apartment. She Has a car space which she also owns in the common garage facility in the basement. It is proving very difficult to get permission to instal a wall charger, requiring easements to the rules covering thr shared space. It looks like she will spend nearly £2000 in legal fees and has already taken two years of negotiation. It seems like un area in which government could step in to remove one more unnecessary impediment to rapid adoption of EVs
I don’t understand the complaints about ads. You can listen ad free on podcast services. And RUclips premium is not expensive. Especially since I watch way more YT than TV these days it’s a bargain.

I'm guessing here but I wonder if it is to do with how many episodes you knock out. As the output goes up so the advert interruptions will go down. It was annoying.
@@maesygwartha yes frustrating but I stuck with it and it was an interesting podcast. That's the problem with youtube income - its quite difficult to monetise sufficiently. Perhaps if we become Patreon supporters we can avoid the ads. I might look into that as FC is deffo worth chucking a few quid at every month I guess.
So energy wise it’s Arab Oil out and Chinese PVs & Batteries in. Wait another 1 or 2 years for the UK to wake up and it will be too late. Forgot how to build production lines. Forgot how to make things. Forgot how to employ the young people of this country. Flood the market with low cost LiFe phosphate cells as the Chinese did with PV and see what happens.

Very annoying, I gave up and stopped listening after the fifth interruption- surely this is detrimental to the channel?
