I’m currently in the process of getting a welding rig put together to go pipeline. Let me tell you, it is a never ending process of getting all of your tools. I know guys who have been in the game for 5-10 years that still don’t have all of their tools. You can never seem to have enough for the job.
Thats alot. Lol. Dont forget Extractor fan, L.O.T.O., Signage, welding curtains for when others are around you need to protect the eyes of.. safety glasses. And a bid ass hammer. Lol. ... and a carton of smokes..lol.
A vise mounted to your truck somewhere comes in really handy!
oh heck yeah forgot that one!
Check out the Fein VersaMAG system. Great for on the go work!
Alot better if you mount it to a tube to go in hitch receiver then when you need it slide it in your hitch and when you don't need slide it out
Needle scaler, air hammer, air drill and a blow gun to blow off dust, sand and general mess.

Pipe stretcher, never leave home without it
Brass hammers if you working around sensitive materials it won't mark them up they make ball-peen and yes even a slaghammer and sledges get you some
good tip! large rubber mallets arnt a bad option ether!
Nice work Doc! Enjoyed this one.
No way in other words there's a right, and sometimes wrong TOOL for every job ✌️
Precut wedges, spacers and some lights,
Thats alot. Lol.

And portable lighting!!
The answer is all of them. Buy the whole snap-on truck. And then get a bigger truck. There’s no such thing as too many tools.
Coffee pot and a microwave
Generator, air compressor, plasma cutter, welder...too much to list!
What tools do I need on my truck? Oh, all of the ones that you need and then some. 🙂
Better to be over prepared and not need it instead of need it and not have it.
