- Monday we woke up to about 8" inches of SNOW that had fallen overnight, then it began raining and it didn't stop for hours. Tuesday I found ELS 502 (SD40-2) moving north along 141 thru Beecher, WI where I began following it.. In Pembine they stopped to grab gondolas for Alter Metal, then headed to East Kingsford, MI where they dropped the 8 gondolas they picked up.

Thank you Jason, awesome video and the hanging log, its a wonder, it did not fall off, LOL.
Great chase! Thanks for taking us along.
Seeing this Wednesday, we has snow Sleet then Torrential rain then Iced on Sunday! Melting fast by Wednesday (today). Torrential rains coming! Just under 10” Saturday into Sunday!Great video as usual!!!
We had 10" of snow in Rhinelander followed by 3/4" of rain followed by 1" of snow. Temperature dropped to 15° and froze the slush solid. Gotta love spring in the northwoods. Excellent video as usual, thanks Jason!
So similar to ours in mid state Maine! Massive Tree damage and uprooted on the Southern and MidCoast with much less snow, but Rains!
An old-time conductor, eh? "Making air" @ 34:44 is what I knew back then, nowadays most crews and rules say "3-step protection". Brought back memories, nice footage...
So love hearing the locos revving up!
Roads look 👍
Thanks
Nice video! With those closeup shots at Alta metal I see how it’s done
Red FRED !
Love your drive down Hwy 141 yesterday in Tigerton it was 60 degrees after getting a foot on Sunday and a.30 inch of rain most out snow is gone except in shaded areas. Funny weather in Wisconsin and the uppper Midwest
I enjoyed the video👍👍
Awesome video!
Yeah, that was a cool view being parked right next to the tracks. It should use it more often. At your age you should get a snow blower. You can get a heart attack. People die from heart attacks from shoveling snow. How about once a month put the parrots on for a show. Have a great Easter ciao for now bro.
Jason: Thank you so much for braving the elements to bring joy to railfanners like me! Have a blessed Easter!
Thank YOU for the live video!
I should do a LIVE video soon!
Nice video, Jason! What a difference a day can make in the weather.
Yeeah - big logs stickin' out!!!
On the run but saving this one in my file for later! Thanks for all you do to bring us the rails Jason. Until next time!
Can you believe snow here know it gone .must be new thats all its done
A nice train with an orange freddy on the back thanks Jason !
I did not know there was another switch across from the bank'...
Jason, how about showing how they unload the wood off those cars.
Harley rules...
Three short and one long blast on the horn. The ELS does it its way, not necessarily the FRA's way.
haha......i know why they dont wave at you, you are keeping them honest videoing them......they probably wish you would disappear, i say keep up the good work, i like watching your channel
Yeah - good location - that log could fall off - bounce on the asphalt and smack you or your vehicle. LoL
Another great video. They could probably recover a carload of logs that have fallen off
now it 19 cars and 502 engine running .
Thanks Jason for the video
I was feeling bad for the skeleton sitting on that chair sitting freezing to the bone
😂 Man this weather is crazy y'all got inches up there but luckily it melts right away, and finally a train video after a few days I was wondering what happened but good to see 502 being back carrying the load and yeah that's how fast you shovel snow 😂
WOAH! ok... so the ex-TPPX cars are now re-stenciled LPX (4:05). That's fairly recent, er no? (LOL). 306, 321, 310 on this train.
My mom said that when she was talking to her self she was having an intelligent conversation.
That's what I used to tell my wife when she asked me why I was talking to myself.
If you compare the logs on LPX 310 (last car) at 25:13, again at 46:14 and lastly at 51:44, one can observe the advance and eventually that 2 had fallen off by the time of your last shot.
got the same in snow , then a 1/2" rain then back to snow
Get-used-to-it.
18 cars and 502 engine running out.
we didn't get any snow from that storm at all
are they down a couple of locomotives
Was that an echo of the train horn?
Why do they haul that scrap iron all the wy north and back ? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Get a snowblower
LMFAO... WHY?
They should rename their railroad the 'Rock 'n' Roll Railroad Co'. It sho do rock and roll!
