How fascinating to watch this take place. I love the balance between the two aspects needed, and revealed here, in the making of this vase: craftsmanship and artistry that harmoniously exist together. One side is the execution, technique and strategy, and the other is the vision, intuition, and feeling. They are complimentary. This is exactly what human beings benefit from learning. The result is true beauty, it is useful and inspiring. 🌱 ♥︎ I will check back to see if there is a part 2 :)

Beautiful technique, explanation and result. As an older beginning potter I really appreciated the centering method. So fluid and lovely to watch. Thank you!

That's wonderful and very helpful advice for centering and wheel speed; and I appreciate that you mentioned not having the same strength when you get older. This is a stunning piece and I'd love to see what it looks like when its glazed. I've put this video on my pottery club Facebook page. Thank you, Hsin!
