Fun fact, this was gonna be a 30 minute special. Everyone at CN supported it but a High-Ranking CEO wanted to try and kill it. They cut the length in half and in spite of that *it got the highest ratings that night.*
Amand since then OK K.O. was constantly dogged by that CEO I'm guessing which aided in it's cancellation, even though that's more speculation and the AT&T Merger delays seems like the more likely option.

The sad thing was that it was supposed to be that long, CN screwed it over, Garnet had a whole defusion plot and everything because Ruby was inspired by the design of K.O

Two of my all time favorite OK KO crossovers are the one's with Captain Planet and the Grimwood girls from "Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School!" And the fact that they were voiced by some of their original voice actors after all these years was a real treat!!!
Ikr, I loved hearing David Coburn reprise Captain Planet! The voice he used for the character barely changed a bit.

The Ghoul School crossover was the best one
This show is silly. Almost goofy. Damn near on the precipice of shenanigans.
And we love it for that.
I’ve been hyping Crossover Nexus since Day One of you guys reaction to this show! It is admittedly disappointing that it was supposed to be 22 minutes, and those deleted scenes look amazing, but nonetheless, Cartoon Network needs that love again. I can see why so many people adored CN City, the fact that some of the petrified characters were from shows not even released yet at the time (notice Mao Mao’s silhouette near the end of that hallway), and the fact this was canon to the CN universe makes me wish all the CN shows airing around the time this episode acknowledged it. It’s a short but amazing special for the channel’s 25th anniversary!

And yet they decided to cancel OK KO: Let's Be Heroes and continue TTG without no care 😡.
IDK about ya'll but I am convinced that there will never be another bigger crossover episode, than Crossover Nexus from OK KO: Let's Be Heroes.
I think Nickelodeon did something similar recently.
Edit: they technically did it twice. once in 2006 and the recent attempt.
I want a sequel to CN's platform fighter crossover. They could easily expand it and include KO and newer shows to make it a big thing like Nick did. Though it'll probably just be CN characters in Multiversus

Crossover Nexus was the first thing I saw out of OK KO and it was pretty good even with the bad version of Ben. Can we please get a Scooby Doo and Ghoul School reaction now? The girls were so fun and it's wild they really brought them back from a one-off movie.
