Evolution of Sonic Stage Intro Animations

A comp of all the unique starting animations I know of in the main games. I like the bit of style and personality they gave to the characters. Surprisingly Colors had the most variations. Nowadays Sonic just starts levels standing still or running with no lines

Never even realized how many variants Colors had to that starting animation, that’s a nice touch it would be great to see that level of attention put into the series again
