I'm grown man, And I love to watch these two. Down to earth and Just Good People and They know what there doing! I got little teary eyed watching this and Seeing how happy this young couple was and what a Beautiful Home they now have....
What I love is how Ben can just walk by a woodpile and make total magic happen. He makes the most beautiful home projects out of what looks like pieces of junk; butcher block tables, all kinds of things. Worth watching the show just for that.
''Back in the day...'' Before modern refrigeration, when there was only an ''ice box'' and the ice man would deliver a block of ice to keep your meat cold, the houses had a '' cooler cabinet'' which was a narrow, floor-to-ceiling cabinet with a screen on the floor and the ceiling. The opening went from the basement to the attic. There were slotted shelves and cooler air would circulate keeping the butter, cheeses, bacon, etc. cool. Ingenuity was a definate necessity.Things have certainly progressed since then.
Erin & Ben I love your work, but more than that, I just love you two. You put so much heart into people’s homes… it just reflects your generosity! I wish you could come to South Florida!!! You live in the town my son in law is from and I love seeing where he comes from. You are the bestest!❤
Love Ben and Erin ' I would move to Mississippi just to be able to live in one of those house's that they have turned into a beautiful comfy home ! Down right gorgeous ! To own a piece of beautiful furniture that came from his magic hands ! Erin is so very talented Artists ' love , love , love her paintings ! And she's so very talented as a decorator , and talented in music what an awesome friend to have she would be so much fun !!!! I can't get enough of Home Town , my favorite show !!!! Thanks for sharing this 👍🏼❤
This was hilarious! “Get a pantry!” I love you guys! I really like how you guys keep the good parts of homes instead of trashing it like other flippers!
I hate how 'Flip or flop' automatically reach for the sledgehammer. Occasionally, Christina will spot something of value like the 50's turquoise built in oven from one episode. Tarek would have just thrown it in the skip.
This show’s couple do such amazing work! I’m always blown away by the care and detail that they put into each home. Truly they are born to do what they do.
I love every thing about this couple. They care about the family not just how much they'll make. They have a great family also. So in love and happy. Amazing how much they get done with the budget of the couple compared to the other shows that take the whole budget and the couple dont get all they asked for. I don't understand how it works but i always said if I was lucky to have a house redone I would want Ben and Erin to do it.
I want to have a home in Laurel Mississippi. The values and the the accent is precious. The wood work shop and his talents are bar none. Love Home Town!
Boy you two are the most talented people in the world 😏😎🤩 I have seen all of your show's several times.. I get a good cry 😂 every time cause you make people happy
What a great project, and I love the ways that Ben and Erin put the homeowners' families and history all throughout the house. The guest suite was also showed some innovative methods to hide the ugly with all the new pretty. Good stuff.
It would be a dream for ben and Erin to work their magic on a house for me. Love their aesthetic!! Their town does have uniquely beautiful old homes that they bring back to life. I would love a wide wrap around porch 🥰 so jelly.
I was there a few months ago and visited their store and antique shop. Also drive around looking at the houses they've renovated. Laurel is a beautiful little town. 😊✌️
Yes, they are extremely talented in remodeling homes . Ben is the best furniture builder I have ever seen. Erin is excellent at she decorating and art work. Helen is the cutest little girl and her southern accent is absolutely adorable. At the end of one show when they showed Ben holding her after giving her bottle after she was recently born showed how much he loved that precious baby.
I love this couple & this show! They have great taste...love it that they make stuff out of family cabins, etc....and they actually act like they like each other! Couples that obviously don't get along take something away from the show. You guys ROCK!
What incredible talent...and with such a big heart! Wow. This brought me to tears. I could feel that this was Home Sweet Home. I would say this is award winning if there's an award for home makeovers. I hope this sweet couple enjoys their new, beautiful home in good health. 😇👪 💖
These 2 couldn't have found better professions. They're so gifted & talented. I may not like the "farmhouse" look, but they do a fantastic job of making a house feel like a home
Love this house but then again I love everything n I mean everything that Ben n Erin do to the homes they renovate. The porch was gorgeous, so big. If my husband n I were a few year younger I would love to move to Laurel Mississippi n have Ben n Erin do over a home for us. They make a great team n their work is priceless. We maybe getting older to move to another state n I would of probably have done it until I realized they get tornadoes there. Can’t handle that. Hurricanes I can in my state , u e got time to prepare for it. Love watching Home Town n can’t wait for new season. ♥️♥️😊👍
I love these people they have the right attitude, I watch their show all the time and sometimes more than once terrific work, your team is great as well ☺☺☺
Love love the after so beautiful and love how they kept the character of the home and reused and reimagined the pieces that they took down. I normally I'm not a fan of dark colors interior but this is absolutely gorgeous.
That is so beautiful! Thanks for showing more of the after. I just about cried when I saw the entry. Having pictures of relatives on beautiful blue walls. :)
I love watching them both, what a lovely couple and they are so clever, can't stop watching them, well done, keep the good work up from Julie from England
Ben and Erin, your creative job is outstanding.... and the gifts that you build with family history lumber is so thoughtful of you...the spirit of Love Lives On and Guide Throughout your Life God Blessing the Love Ones Forever....Ben your Thoughtfulness will live on with Gratefulness...good job!!!!!!!!!
You are AMAZING! You litterally put a house on top of another! This new space is so cosy! It has everything. A place to sleep, a place to eat, to read, to relax, everything. Wow!!!
@@BritgirlTX 😁 I see you're from Texas? I have the pleasure of saying although that's my opinion of some from the South of course there are plenty of truly sincere and genuine people with charm. Have a nice day.
I wish HGTV would help people who live in single wide trailers remodel their homes. I hate my floor plan! I can’t use half of my cabinets. Guess I should be grateful. I used to be homeless.
I lived in an old 1960's singlewide for more than a decade, so I learned a few tricks about how to deal with the limitations. Even if you hate your floorplan, there's still stuff you can do. The most important thing I discovered was to look up because that's where you can make more space: I put shelves over the doors (doors are where you are gonna find wall studs easily) and above head-height in a small hallway. I covered boxes with pretty paper to put on the shelves and this increased my storage substantially, but simply and with low cost. If you can't use your cabinets, maybe you can take some of the doors off. This is something I did with a cabinet that just didn't work for me. I painted the cabinet inside and out so it would look nice, and I was able to store things neatly. Actually, I've lived a bunch of inconvenient awkward awful places (hey, I'm old; I've moved a lot of times) so I knwo that there's always something you can do. Rule number one: the only thing in life that you can really change is your own mind. So stop hating the place; find quirky things that you can have fun with and then it will start smiling back at you--that's when it feels like home. Just start small and use what you have on hand. You can do this!
@@Wayniesgirl Thanks. As the child of Depression Era parents, I was taught the old saying "use it up, wear it out, make it do, do without" and I still believe that is one of the best things to know. I think that would be an awesome HGTV series they have enough people doing your typical brick and mortar house how about a mobile home or even live in RVs

Erin seems like she would be a person you would want as a best friend, she is so great
I Agree she seems like a real sweetheart.
You two are a marriage made in heaven. So fun to watch people who love each other❤️💜
I love Ben and Erin. The houses they rescue for each family are in need but this couple fills that need turning each into a home.
Oene thing I appreciate about these two is that each house is unique. It's not the same 'modern country' shiplap and gray paint everywhere.
Lovely.

I love how Ben always find parts of the house to make an awesome build, or use elsewhere in the house.
