Shared at one point by stanchinsky now "MUSIC?" if my memory serves me right. It has a kind of distanced, unemotional-emotional character. Very special.

Me too. Even though he never invented the wheel he is a legit contributor to the European art-music canon. In writing and interpretation of theory as well

I am a complete fan of this. I have the vinyl, amazingly. The Piano Trio is an exquisite piece which I particularly recommend. There is also a very fine third string quartet. The Goehr language gets more remote as the years pass but here he writes with superb control and creates a very fine piece.
