Love love your videos and your moms hair. I use that dye all the time, its the only one I ever used since I got my grays. It works very good, only have to do touch ups. Was using it for years.

Funny, I used that dye also for my gray roots b4 I got my Sisterlocks and I have that same little brush that came from the root touch up kit. I use the Shea Moisture dye now but I may try the Bigen again because I did notice that it lasts longer. Beautiful Mother daughter team.

Ironically I'm using this to cover my grays before i get my retighting on my sister locs I've used this product for several years and it works great for and is also very inexpensive😉

I also use this same product and just like you found the liquid does not cover the gray. I cowash it out instead of shampoo. Have had no problems after years of use.

I have used this product for 10 years. I have mastered the use and came up with ideas to make sure the hair does not get dry.
My hair is great with it. You can buy it in Walmart for $3- $4.
Make sure you wear an old top and cover the sink etc.
I used the black beauty shop perm brush. One whole bottle does the whole head and some time over.
I do my own my hair is 3abc and a little 4.
You must rinse 2x.

I've used the loreal root touch up as well. I've only used it on the front and top parting hairline. Watching your video shows me that I could cover way more instead of using too much on less area. Was so nice seeing mother and daughter, thank you so much.

Have you ever done the curl where you use the length of your locs to create the curl? I forget what it's called. But you can wear your hair in that style for a while before you take them down.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm covering my friend's gray roots and turning them back Brown if I'm supposed to do her Roots twice?
Used this product years ago. It for me was an excellent product at first then the formula change & it did not work as well. Color was very uneven. Maybe i will tried again. I also found black hair on older ladies tents to make them look harsh. I am looking for a softer balance. Grace to all. gh

This a great product. I will be trying the brown/black for a change. I never had a problem with any allergic reaction. I will be getting micros in a month or so. But it's much better then those box dyes and semi color. I love your locs. Thinking of faux locs for the near future. You are absolutely correct on the liquid Bigen..as it does nothing. Have you tried the 58 brown/black yet.

Beware that powdered dye caused me to have a bold spot! I used on 3 different occasions and on the 3rd time I got quarter sized bald spot on the crown of my head. I guess I must have got some kind of a chemical burn from the product. I would never recommend using this I don't know why they're so selling it. It seems like a great product for me at first but then I did some research and realize it's made in China and there are absolutely no regulations on them and I have no idea what's even in that box. So use at your own risk.
Maya Brown Sorry that you got a bald spot! Bigen hair dye is made in Japan not China. It’s made specifically for dark hair. And the powder is made to cover 100% of grey hairs. It was created by the company Hoyu. There’s no ammonia or hydrogen peroxide in their hair dye. I’m not sure what would cause a chemical burn. Perhaps you had an allergic reaction. Dyes should always be tested on skin before dyeing especially if you have sensitive skin. My mom hasn’t experienced any burns, breakage or reactions to the dye and she’s been using it for years. Thanks for your concern!
Damn right, I'm a stylist and that color is trash. Ive seen men faces and scalps bump up and leak puss after the use of this product, and u know China does not give a damn about us! Use the shit at your own risk!!

Hi, would you recommend a person with 4c very porous hair use this permanent coloring system?
I have 4 c just do it the way she does you may want to leave it in maybe a min or two longer only because your hair is thick I've been using it about 3 yrs!
