I started and still am on a Scrambler 900 and can´t see myself ride anything else. People ahead turn their heads when you approach, point and talk. It´s just a cool bike that does everything good enough and is fun to ride. I exchanged the stock Metzeler Tourance for some Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3 and can recommend them very much if you drive more road than gravel and dirt.
I love mine it will always have a place in my garage but, maybe with a couple of friends in the future!
A Scrambler 900 can be a good beginner bike for strong beginners, but it's a bit heavy for weaker beginners. A lighter thumper dualsport might be a better choice.
A 37WHP Suzuki DR650 can be shaved to around 320lb curb (similar to a stock CRF250L), the seat can be lowered to 30" or less, and the power can be seriously increased as skills develop.
Great insight man! I agree with the weight for lighter individuals but, I think it can still be quite manageable! Great to have the community respond with other suggestions
Really? I started on a 1200xc. Can't imagine a bike as small as the 900 is too big
@@logangodofcandyReally? How tall and heavy are you? What is your inseam? Can you leg-press more than 200lb?
If you're some 5'10"+ athletic/strong guy who has ridden mini-bikes as a kid, do you not think that maybe you might have an easier time of handling a 400lb+ motorcycle with a 30"+ seat height than a 4'11" woman who didn't play outside much as a kid?
I've been riding for 18 years and I think it's a great bike. Bought one for myself. :)
It really is! I love mine I can’t get enough of riding it… when time allows
I changed my st S (95cv) for this one, and I am the happiest man in the world, cheers!
Glad your loving it dude
I bought one last week 😍 i can say its good for beginners, but for me its the perfekt allround bike!
I love mine genuinely couldn’t imagine selling it but, given the chance to own more bikes I’ll never say no. Always coming back to the scram though!
I went into triumph just after passing my test. I had intentions of getting the Scram900 they had as a demo but it had sold. I took a test ride on the sram 400 and bought one the next day. Not regretted it yet.
It’s a great bike! Enjoy it!
Got my Mod 2 tomorrow morning and I've had my Street Scrambler waiting for me since February lol, can't wait to get her out on the road!
Enjoy it man! Be safe out there
@Nomad_Scrambler cheers mate, keep up the good work
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@Nomad_Scrambler I passed!, man the Scrambler is a great bike, just had so much first on my first ride
Amazing dude ride safe!
I believe the camshaft upgrade is only up to the 19 model. I have the scrambler 900 2023 model and the only thing I miss about it is that is has a terrible turning circle. Wish it could turn the steering wheel as much as the Scrambler 400/1200. Cool bike. Where did you buy the mirrors, and is it easy to attach both mirrors and hanguards?
The mirrors are Oxford mirrors believe the cafe style and the handguards took me 30min to install and add so much!
@@Nomad_Scrambler Thanks! Happy with the carbon handguards? Decent deflection?
Yeah I love them! Deffo worth the extra!
