- Hello family! I’ve missed you all, and I’m glad to be back!
Please watch this family vlog, in which I share our family of 3 young children, my husband, myself visiting three countries in East and west Africa - Ghana 🇬🇭, Tanzania, and the beautiful island of Zanzibar!
Meeting great grand parent, and other family members for the first time!
Shopping on the streets of Dar Es Salaam, Accra, Zanzibar, our coconut farm in the eastern region of Ghana.
It was a gastronomic overload for the entire family!
I drew much inspiration from indigenous Swahili cuisine, and brought back recipe to share soon!
Our trip began with the journey to Ghana, where we stayed for 2 weeks. I unfortunately fell Sick, and didn’t get to do as much as I’d keenly anticipated, till the last few days of our 2 week stay!
We then, traveled from Ghana to Tanzania next 🇹🇿, my husband’s home country. It was mine, and our children’s first time there!!!! We had too much fun!
Next trip was a 3 night visit to the beautiful island of Zanzibar! Our Air B&B was located in Nungwi, a tourist destination, with stunning beaches, white sand! Nungwi is located on the north end of Zanzibar. We drove 1 hour from the sound end, where the harbor is to Nungwi, which also happens to be the last town on the north end of Zanzibar!
