(Oops, meant to comment on this sooner but it was very late when I first saw it) Wow, this was another amazing Pokemon animation you have cooked up for the series! The flow and smoothness of everything was on point, and I loved the variety of camera angles you used. I especially loved the establishing shots at the beginning just showing the wildlife and the scenery. It felt so peaceful, and was able to breathe so much life into the world in a short amount of time. I also loved how you animated the waves throughout this! Such a smart yet subtle technique.
Your grandma did a lovely job voicing the Lapris, and gave it such a fun and warm personality. Hopefully we get to see her again.
And as always, I really like your approach to lip sync!
Bonus points for the cool transition editing towards the end with them flying in the sky! A nice touch to flesh out the journey and make everything feel more connected.
Anyways, this was bottom line a very beautiful and well crafted animation. As a fellow animator, I can see all the hard work you put into this, and how you thought of every small detail to give life to this world. I am truly sorry the RUclips algorithm is treating this video so badly atm. It’s been gradually doing that to long form content for a while now, and it’s genuinely frustrating for people who care about detailed content. I do hope to see this series continue, but I can understand the urge to stop it entirely if this is how it will be treated by the algorithm. Some dumb programmed piece of technology should not dictate the worth of our art. What we create is worthy of love and attention even if we don’t receive it right away. At the very least, the algorithm can never take away the love and care that goes into the craft of stop motion. So, you can be very proud of all the work you do to tell your stories. It’s very inspiring in a day and age where traditional work is being done less and less.
I need to experiment more with manipulating the algorithm so the videos can be properly distributed to the audiences that like the content. My marketing skills are subpar. I’ve seen other animators that are better than me in all honesty struggle as well.
Back when I started I didn’t need to manipulate the algorithm, tags or clickbait. I just posted and it would be a hit. I got monetized on my 7th video for context.
@@AlexisGutierrezProductions Yeah, I’m working on that same issue too. I’ve been messing around with Shorts to see if short-form storytelling can draw in more people for the longer stuff, but it’s been hit or miss. I plan on making a new batch to see if I can get better results this year. Telling a cohesive story in less than a minute is actually much harder than it seems.
Ah, yes, very true. I feel like as a whole, Mega Construx Pokémon content just generally preformed better back in the 2018-2020 range. It’s fortunate you were able to earn monetization so soon. That’s a goal I’m still working at, but I’ll get there one day.
@@LuigisToyBox I got monetized in 2016, due to being in the military I didn’t have as much time to make consistent videos, but that didn’t matter back then the algorithm was generous relative speaking.
What’s your watch time? Do you have more than 4000 hours?
@@AlexisGutierrezProductions Ah, that’s cool to know. RUclips definitely did feel more lenient in years past. I think my Pokemon video peak was in 2020 when the pandemic was in full swing.
Watch hours are the only thing holding me back now. At the moment, I think I have around 1,800 hours accumulated, so if I hurried perhaps I could make it before they reset.

not only is Pokémon mystery dungeon explorers of time, darkness, and sky my absolute favorite game of all time it was my first Pokémon game I ever owned
And I’ve loved watching stop motion animation my entire life and I never thought I’d see the day where the two would be combined this makes me happy

Next episode will involve fighting against Dialga’s body guards. One of the Characters is duraladon which is a Pokémon from the galar region, it’s British. Which I think you would make a perfect fit
