Yes agree. I also use a cheap mouse, which ergonomically fits in the palm and it feels like it's not even there. For that kind of comfort you can't put a price tag.

You describe exactly what I experienced with my G Pro Wireless. I sold G304 and thought G Pro Wireless was gonna be a solid upgrade. Actually, the sensor is much better, but the shape causes a lot of discomfort. I already sold the G Pro Wireless and thinking of rebuying the G304 again.
I have around 300+ hours on aim training labs with a soft claw grip. It's easy to recommend the egg shape mouse with players that can grip the mouse easily but in my experience having a smaller/sweaty hands I easily slip, or strain my pinky or thumb with a claw grip. I'm currently using grip tapes but it's uncomfortable and can get really nasty.
For me g305 sucks in hand and my superlight is super good on my hands.. It's just that shape of g305 is too low to the ground and kind of hurt my fingers
Thats a fair reason. I have both the g703 and the gpw (not gpx) which are both wireless and very nice mice, but I prefer my wired viper 1k because of the shape (and weight). It would be nice for logitech to make updated lightweight versions of their mice though

I have a Viper Mini and a Rakk Talan Wireless but I prefer using my 2 years old G102 because of the grip and it feels better in my hand. Im considering to buy g305 now.
That's the exact upgrade route I went with... I had a g102/g103 for years and I love it.. but it started to age so I went and bought a g304/g305.. it's the exact same.. although it's a lot heavier due to the battery but it's better since there are no more wires to worry about.

G305 is also so customizable, you can even reduce it's weight by just changing to a different type of batter, there's also a lot of custom backplate, if you prefer honeycomb design you easly find one
My super light 2 was acting up after 4 days with full battery. Input lag that was unplayable. I thought it was my computer but it was on multiple games and my g305 and my wired Gpro that I got for 30$ 6 years ago were both working fine. After I restarted my computer it fixed it but like I said both of my other mice were working fine. Used the g305 for 6 months on one double a battery and never had any issue. I swear there’s still a little delay with the super light even after.
I like the G305 because you can control the mouse speed with that button. I use either red or blue but it’s your preference. It’s also got very nice scrolling. I use the scrolling mostly for Valorant or Minecraft. Warzone you can just press 1 or 2 to switch your guns. It’s good for fast loadout choosing so. It’s nice.
keeps my claw grip. when the gpx made me lazier with my grip. finally came back to this mouse and my aim is better but i do got to take breaks more often haha. kind of a blessing my gpx scroll wheel kicked the can after 4 months
I used G305 for some time but the thing that bothered me too much is the removable shell which started to slightly move back and forth constantly. Not oniy it's annoying but I also felt like I had no grip on the mouse because of it
I have a white G102/G203 Lightsync and it has the exact same shape but it's wired (a VERY long wire too btw) and has sick RGB I got it last week for $20 (and it's an imported product here so that includes the taxes and stuff)
I like bigger mice I just bought a g pro wireless today after breaking my razer death adder which is a weirdly big mouse but I can say Fs I’ll get accustomed to the gpro relatively fast the only thing that is different are the side buttons tbh

I also use the g305 to do normal everyday tasks, i game not much and most of the times are games that are not competitive like fortnite, i'm the simulators and farming one
g305 is kinda a legend. Simple, cheap, it just freaking works. Sure, it's not got all the bells and whistles. But honestly you shouldn't be spending so much on a mouse. Mice are delicate and wear out quickly.

The super light weight energizer lithium batteries take this mouse to a whole level, have 4 to 5 months in between batt changes and lightens the mouse as well
I love my g305 but it was just too small. Eventually switched to the g703 which fits much better. Lucky your hand is small enough for the g305, that would’ve saved me $80 😅

Wish they made a lighter and overall improved variant with the g305 shape, although the g305 performs really nice for me in competitive shooters and weight never was an issue for me xD Still, a new variant would just be nice because the shape is - for me personally - better then the one of all the other mice (even the rather similar ones)

I have the G203 which is the same shape as the G305, I agree that the shape is great. Not a fan of these super thin mice coming out, I’d much rather have more weight and a better shape
it has those sharp buttons I really liked on my corsair harpoon. But it has one the same problems, a dpi switch. Sadly when I have a dpi switch I can’t help but click it cause for some reason it’s satisfying 😭 I wonder if there’s a way to unbind it 🤔

@@Tripokaridos22 yeah exactly, the shroud mouse. The sides do scoop inwards like the g305. In fact the g305 was designed based on the g303. I did try it but only for a short period of time because the mouse had a sensor rattle.

Used to have 305, but then i Saw all Korean pros playing with Superlight X and I decided to jump a wagon and sent my 305 to my brother. 1 year in and iI hate superlight. Everytime I go back homke for holidays and I play with my old 305 on my brothers pc I play way way better. Time to switch back!

Fucking true, i got viper mini but i didnt like it, its shape isn't comfortable for me, but g203/g305 is the Best mouse for My grip.

I can agree with you (even after 1 year). I have a Raver Viper 8k (want to upgrade to Viper V2 PRO), best sensors nowadays but the shape is just bad.
What about the mchose G3? It's a G305 clone that's lighter with a newer sensor
g305 have a sensor issue in its scroll wheel that causes it to register downward scroll when scrolling upwards or vice versa

The first one I got had double click issues on its first week. Got a replacement and haven't had any issues so far (~ 2 years now).

While the G305 is excellent, it has a drawback: it tends to double-click prematurely during use.
Luckily I haven’t had any issues with my copy so far.
I used g903 for 4 years XL hands, switched to viper ultimate, way too smal, switched to GPW not comfortable at all. Shape is the key.
I use the g102 and it was really good and very very cheap btw double click doesn't bother me so it was a great deal.
