Simply stated He has always been a complete legend for the past six decades and continues to dominate the definition of a true Waterman Much respect and a true hero 👍
I'm 76, it's 2023...I live in KY now..still have a Greenough flex fin I bought from Gregg Liddle in Agoura back in the early 80's....still have it..I used it often on a lot of boards. It was NOS when I bought it from Gregg.
What's your name? My buddy surfed nothing but Liddle boards back in the 80's. I was a Campbell Bros. Bonzer guy with a 7" Greenough fin. I still ride all the time. Zuma Rincon Faria and the ranch.
I remember George picking me up hitchhiking as a young grom heaps of times. At the time I wagged school often so that I could go surfing , get my thumb out and go where the waves were and along would come George in his old Holden panel van which I think was an old fj Holden . I knew nothing about who he was at that time and only knew him as the really cool dude that picked me up to go and find a nice wave
I would really love to see him and thank him for being such a cool dude and even though he didn’t realise it he was one of the very few people I genuinely respected around Byron and that area .
He was a great bloke then as well as a great human then and I am sure he is now
great story. thanks for sharing
thats sick mate, living the life haha
He lives in Australia
On a surf mat! Takes me way back to when life was much simpler.
Ya’ couldn’t of helped yourself could ya’? 🤙🏼
Go have a few more cones, and don't ever leave your parents basement.
The true GOAT...
Anyone here remember when his from-the-barrel views first came out? They were mind blowing!
“The innermost Limits of Pure Fun” was his tube riding movie.
Sure do. Rincon.

As a bodyboarder, that to mee looks like so much fun! This is the true pioneering to the body board. You go my man!
Tapping the energy no one else can see. He’s one of a kind real water man
I just bought a queen size air mattress. I am taking it surfing after watching this. See if I can get some air time.
Legendary guy.
Looks like Wategos Beach, back in the day when George would surf it all the time in many conditions!

Having more fun than anyone...
George Greenough lives in outer space man
That is the truth, hard to keep up with his chat in real time while surfing. Talked with him a couple times at 7 Mile Beach back in the day in the bay days.

The only one getting barreled that day.
