Kanami unveiled her signature live last night at Zepp Haneda. It sounded fantastic. They spent much of the first MC time talking about it and Kanami was obviously emotional.
For me BandMaid is the most entertaining, the most enpowering, the most diligent, talented snd inspiring band in the 21st century. Continous growth and steadfast refusal to settle for good enough are their hallmark. Their music makes me so happy! Thank you for your most excellent channel Sofi!
Sofi, I love your new "studio?" I also love your sweater. Every Maidiac is so proud of Kanami for the honor she has justly received. Her technical knowledge of her instrument is so informative. Her humility and love for Band-Maid is also evident when she stated that instead of having her name on the headstock of the guitar, she opted to have the Band-Maid ribbon logo on it. She did sign the guitar cover on the back of each guitar, however. It is now impossible to order one. All 200 guitars were sold out within 72 hours. At around $6,000 apiece, PRS made $1,200,000 in that 72 hours.

I'm really happy to see that Kanami is finally getting some recognition for her talent as a guitarist and songwriter. PRS have got to be pleased. They had sold out by pm on the day and made PRS over $1,200,000. If the PRS official site is right and they only had nine signature models before Kanami, this is really an honour. Santana was first with the rest being guys. One comment from Japan said the she was the first Guitarist in Japan to have a signature PRS. Perhaps more importantly she was the first female guitarist in the world to have one.
From what I heard just this morning, all 200 Kanami Signature guitars have already sold. At $6600 US (tax included) that's impressive. And there are plenty of others who missed out who would like to buy one. Maybe they'll make some more.
I keep seeing people say this but it's not true. I could link you to three different stores that still have it in stock right now and they all ship globally so it doesn't matter where you are located.

As soon as I saw the email about the guitar I sat with it in a shopping cart ready to hit the button to order, then I started rationalizing that I would likely just steal it from someone that could actually play the guitar and I backed out of it.
Congratulations to KANAMI , but really the Honor goes to the whole Band , as discussed if one member leaves the whole BAND falls & dismembers ! keep in mind 5 = 1 BAND.
