NAMM 2020: Use your condenser mics as a talkback

Live from NAMM2020-We take a look at the new Hot Shot-48v from Radial. It’s a mic switcher (1 XLR input, 2 XLR outputs) they allow you to use 1 mic for vocals and momentarily turn it into a talkback (MD Mic). Previously using a condenser mic with a switcher would result in a “pop” when switching channels. No more-with the Hot Shot 48v!

Do you know if the switch is mechanical inside or if it has wires to the switch inside?

My Palmer ABO switcher pops even when using a dynamic mic... I wonder if this is the answer to my problems...?

I'd rather get a small preamp and a regular splitter. 😀
