Say you are speechless! It is that good. This is surely an East African influence. My in-laws came from Kenya as well, I never tried this in India. Now it is our family favourite. We simply boil, shallow fry ( for healthier option) and then sprinkle with salt, red chilli powder and lemon juice, tastes yummy.
Yes it was super delicious. Tangy, spicy, sweet, sour - a mixture of many flavours. We often have it with just salt, chili and lemon too. That is super tasty too!
