Gotcha... At the time, 'SOLIDWORKS for Makers' was still relatively new to the market, so we created this video as a sort of fun way to introduce people to what's included in it. We weren't aiming for a full product review. That said, do let us know if there's specific feedback you'd like to hear about it. At a high level, we'd say we're really happy with it. The installed SOLIDWORKS is the same commercial grade software that you'd find in industry, and it's connected to the cloud with built-in data management. The browser-based tools like xDesign and xShape are really easy to use and they work on any device with a browser, so MAC, tablets, and phones are all fair game. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform that ties it all together also offers a bunch of tools to help you organize your thoughts and other non-CAD data so you can keep your maker hobby moving forward. Do check out some of our other videos where we show those other tools in action.
