How can you blame them for not having chemistry in Kunle's words or sync in what they are cooking when they were asked not to speak in the first 5 mins, isn't this the time for them to agree on what they need to cook. It should be agree on what you are cooking in the first 5 mins. There are better ways to deliver your feedback. Tolani, keeps shouting and speaking over people, let the other judges speak. The judges are good abeg. Fits the Nigerian standard. They also endeavour to give advice on how to do better for the audience and the contestants knowledge. Good work. Nothing concerning MasterChef judging style and this one. I watch food Network like my life depends on it, Chopped judges are sometimes harsher than this. Definitely not 10 million naira worthy cooking. Despte how bad our naira is. And God, this editor should be penalised. The remaining episodes better be better.
@@aiwekesiena2983 I love chopped show. They are sincere with their judgement but they try to consider the feelings of the contestants…. These judges are harsh and chaotic😪
Well I won’t compare the quality, the chefs and the type of food cooked on Masterchef and chopped with this. Abeg street food should be street food. I feel this show does not have a direction on the outcome they want.
Maybe they should've paid Chef T to edit this video cos what's going on here? Also it's unfair to judge people as a group when they didn't come to the show together, I believe the face off should've been between individuals of losing teams cos why am I eliminated for mistakes of somebody that should be my rival😏 Don't even get me started on Ope🙄

Omo this whole show is a disaster the name of the show shouldn't be tagged 'street' if the judges want a michelin chef recipe with limited ingredients. If y'all want a fine platting, 5 star dishes then just change the stupid show name to naija cooking competition and remove the 'street ' 22:30 chef T saying you can't plate it as street food yet y'all complaining about platting omo e b like this judges get STM Them need fire all this editors bc what's this nonsense edits.. do them one by one
Learnt a lot from these 3 episodes.... Thanks to the team behind the show. If you are here for the entertainment just watch and pass by, stop commenting on things you know nothing about. What has fine dining got to do with street food, yenyenyen.... i guess you guys still eat from vendors that only have tables beside a gutter in a dirty area.
The team responsible for editing should do it contestant by contestant with their food presentation and judgement. Not going back and forth with all contestants. It makes it confusing and hard to follow
When providing feedback to contestants, let's use constructive and calm communication. Harsh criticism can be discouraging and unhelpful. We've seen successful examples from other countries where judges offer thoughtful, expert feedback. Let's emulate that approach. In cooking competitions, it's essential to have knowledgeable judges who understand the nuances of cooking. Having someone who doesn't cook critique others' dishes can be unproductive. We all started somewhere, and gentle guidance helps contestants grow. Let's foster a supportive environment by delivering feedback in a calm, respectful manner. Thank you.
This Opeyemi get wahala o,chess T dey too emotional,Kunle Remi is calm,I trust Eni to taste everything and agree with the judges Kai.... If you go to all their restaurants/canteen you will want to bite your tongue I will say well-done guys
Street food you say, but big on plating, why? How many street food do they plate? Yes plating in this competition matters but is it plate you wanna eat? Reduce the plating talk and judge the food on the plate. Ayalo is just something else, Sandra isnt an assistant but team mate. Why does he sound like he employed her? Where did sandra keep her confidence? This episode was really annoying to watch
I think Opeyemi is supposed to at least taste that plantain they prepared. You are not judging based on looks alone, you are also judging based on taste. You are a judge on a food show, you should be able to take a bite of every meal.
Honestly as an outsider. The judges need to do better. The only judge who so far is doing a good job is kunle. The others are just there. How do you loose your cool as a judge? Choose not to taste food? You need to be composed atlist. Also I feel the contestants should be given atlist 1st five minutes to discuss what they will cook. Also it's streetz so they should maintain their authenticity. Plating shouldn't be everything
Please, the team handling the video editing should stick to the way the previous episodes were edited. This back and forth between contestants is making the entire episode look like a trailer instead of the actual episode.
You guys that are complaining and saying they’re mean blah blah, I don’t understand. Have you guys not watched abroad shows? Gordon Ramsay for example won’t pity anyone yet you guys will hail him. Rest abeg and stop condemning your people and country. We are trying and we should be proud of what we are doing as a country.
They don’t have to clean up immediately, there is no time because it’s a competition, master chef contestant make worse mess, focus on the food , you pick up street vendors and you are expecting them to plate like a chef !! They are not chefs!
Somehow 😂😂😂it feels like they are shouting. I watch food networks a lot even though they don't like stuff they are not this way . KR knows how to address the contestants better . But I guess it's just how Chef T and Opeyemi voice are, tho 😂😂😂😂 I hope the contestants are not traumatized after this lol
The judges could judge without being condescending. Would be nice to watch shows like chopped and see how the judges give feedback in a respectful manner.
Exactly, I have watched so many cooking shows both international and local, but this show is a NO for me, the judges can correct them without this display of anger and irritation.
The judges are confused really. From plating to not plating. Bell pepper not ideal for street food yet we want to elevate plantain. This episode is chaotic
Some constructive criticism: I like the honesty of the judges and the fact that they wanted to push more creativity out of the contestants but when you critique someone constructively, it’s best you start by first encouraging the contestants or stating something you liked or appreciated about the dish. These judges are very much qualified and established in their field of interest but their tone and mannerisms are condescending, they came battle ready and seemed so eager to make the contestants look silly which isn’t necessary to get your point across. Sure some of them made a mistake but attacking them is different from advising them. I really love the idea of a Nigerian cooking show, I’d just prefer if it was less toxic, I really couldn’t watch it to the end, the judging scene put me off😅
I have to admit the contestants didn't bring their A game on this one but judge objectively pls.

Only Ayalo 😂
The judges are good abeg.
Fits the Nigerian standard. They also endeavour to give advice on how to do better for the audience and the contestants knowledge. Good work.
Nothing concerning MasterChef judging style and this one. I watch food Network like my life depends on it, Chopped judges are sometimes harsher than this.
Definitely not 10 million naira worthy cooking. Despte how bad our naira is.
And God, this editor should be penalised. The remaining episodes better be better.
Chopped judges can be harsh but they critically judge. These ones were just vexed and spent the whole time talking over themselves!
Cla J taking it on professionally as usual
You rock chef Cla J
Maybe they should've paid Chef T to edit this video cos what's going on here? Also it's unfair to judge people as a group when they didn't come to the show together, I believe the face off should've been between individuals of losing teams cos why am I eliminated for mistakes of somebody that should be my rival😏 Don't even get me started on Ope🙄
I wished Tosin stayed, he is very neat with his dishes. But his mistake saved Ayalo and Sandra. But Ayalo oversabi too much, which one is the cooking term he was stating
And Chef T is very observant, if not Sandra would not have opened up
Kunle, Mr fzing😂 maybe how den take dey talk am
Sandra is not any better, she is a talker, complains too much but does not. it was obvious with the omelette
It's childishness to call out your partner
Work as a team simple
TEAMWORK IS KEY
the moment u have a partner u must agree to work together
The editing makes the entire thing confusing. I can hardly keep track of the contestants and their meals
Someone said it
Thought so too
So confusing for real
The previous episode was much better
Calm down now. It was a harmless comment.@@OopsyDaisy-s8b
Very confusing
Why are the judges shouting and looking down on the contestants??
This is not judging.
Tbh, their dishes were very disappointing
I don't blame the judges
For real. Very common with Africans.
Plantain is not supposed to stress anybody like this @@nellybassey7666
Like me self don't even understand
Omo this whole show is a disaster the name of the show shouldn't be tagged 'street' if the judges want a michelin chef recipe with limited ingredients. If y'all want a fine platting, 5 star dishes then just change the stupid show name to naija cooking competition and remove the 'street '
22:30 chef T saying you can't plate it as street food yet y'all complaining about platting omo e b like this judges get STM
Them need fire all this editors bc what's this nonsense edits.. do them one by one
10 million is involved, so it has to be challenging and complex
Ayalo doesn’t want to clean and yet can’t fry plantain properly??? Baba 🙄🙄🙄
He wasn’t the one that fried the plantain, watch again
Crazy judges!
Ayalo and Sandra ohh🤣🤣🤣
Thank you.
This Opeyemi get wahala o,chess T dey too emotional,Kunle Remi is calm,I trust Eni to taste everything and agree with the judges
Kai.... If you go to all their restaurants/canteen you will want to bite your tongue
I will say well-done guys
The editing is very confusing. We don’t know which contestants cooked what. So difficult to follow.
He is bossy frr
No oo, he’s feeling like this is Masterchef Australia
Confused Judges!
My elder sister said plantains don’t have blood so you don’t have to over cook it😂😂😂😂But my Goodness!!!! Undercooked plantain is crazy 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chef T, I want my own dish cooked by you sent to me please. We love you🎉
The judges are actually too harsh, that is not how to criticize, they are not primary school students, you guys needs to do better please
Eni is so funny 😂he’s eating nd agreeing with the judges😭😂foodie
I think Opeyemi is supposed to at least taste that plantain they prepared. You are not judging based on looks alone, you are also judging based on taste. You are a judge on a food show, you should be able to take a bite of every meal.
24:50 Ayalo said should I do the cleaning 😂😂
Omo!. Plate well, it's fine dining. Plate wrong, wahala.
Mr Ayalo wife abi girlfriend go dey hear ham for house oo 😮
I swear
😅😅😅😅she look tired
Sandra don finally talk Wetin Dey her mind 😂😂
Eni just wants to eat in peace😂😂
Kunle at 9:04
Won crown plantain yen pelu onions 😂😂
This comment 😂😂😂😂
Honestly as an outsider. The judges need to do better. The only judge who so far is doing a good job is kunle. The others are just there. How do you loose your cool as a judge? Choose not to taste food? You need to be composed atlist. Also I feel the contestants should be given atlist 1st five minutes to discuss what they will cook. Also it's streetz so they should maintain their authenticity. Plating shouldn't be everything
This is such an amazing show!!!
Chef T😮😮 you are actually shouting
No be so judge dey do na
And ope e calm down sir
Like so no be 10million!! Come-on in Chef T voice
From the first day I watch this show I am not gon lie no energy none at all
Please, the team handling the video editing should stick to the way the previous episodes were edited.
Please tell chef T. You don’t have to be condescending
Exactly, I have watched so many cooking shows both international and local, but this show is a NO for me, the judges can correct them without this display of anger and irritation.
That female judge will not allow the next judge to finish judging before she talks, always cutting in half way 😔
Host (Eni) dey chop una dey rate😂😂😂
Not Me Running To Comment Section, You Give Eni Host Speaker na😮😮😮
This Ayaalo ehh Nawa ooo
Keep up the good work girl doyin❤
25:46 😂😂😂
Chef T abeg calm down, let others talk..Didn’t know she could talk like this 😢
You don’t finish food when judging😂😂
Let’s go. Fine dining plating. KR eshe Sir 😂❤
I really love the idea of a Nigerian cooking show, I’d just prefer if it was less toxic, I really couldn’t watch it to the end, the judging scene put me off😅
Ayalo is so annoying. He’ll make a very controlling husband. I’m not done watching but they should throw both of them out
Kunle: Eni how do you feel?
Enii: I agree with the Judges
😂😂😂
Deciding to not eat the food you signed up to eat and judge is crazy
