Akah actually didn’t just follow their mouth, he judged based on his own perspective which is really good. The judges don’t necessarily have to have the same opinion and I feel like that’s what the others have been doing, even if they enjoyed the food, they will say they don’t enjoy it just because chef t and ope said they don’t.

I will speak on the Achara soup as a proud Umuahia babe. First of all Abia is God’s own State not God’s own heart. The food looks good. The oil done(in pidgin). Achara and akpurukpu Egusi (Egusi balls) is missing. I understand that it wasn’t available. She did well.
First time seeing a guest judge actually judge, instead of just repeating what others said. But why was tosin in bottom 4? The only problem i have with tosin is that she kept speaking over the judges and she was talking back a lot Probably they just wanted her to take to correction.
They were fair with their judgment…….I screamed wen I saw raw sharki and rings in jarat plate 50mins isn’t enough to cook assorted meat that’s in large chunks 😢

I still don't understand why a judge would have asked everybody what they're cooking, then another judge will go around to do the same thing. The whole question asking is eating into their short time as well as distracting them
@chefT they are oil to groundnut soup in the North. If you are asking them to make a dish that is peculiar to a region, it must not be made the way you want it, especially the preping. Even people in that region don't prepare it the same way. It may be consistent with but not necessarily the same. The last episode and this were really good. However, if they are cooking naija food, maybe 45 minutes. That is why the Banga separated, I believe, and the meat not being properly cooked.

There’s actually a soup called coco yam soup but different people cook it with different leaf, some cook with bitter leaf, other tribe cook with Uha and uzizi leaf while my husband side which is mbaise cook with ukazi and uha and the don’t use the normal soup coco yam the use the red coco yam

The judges have started singling Tosin out just because she’s confident. Typical Nigerian behaviour, they want you to be confident but not too confident!! Very disappointed in the judges really!
Being confidence is part of competitions, even when You're not doing the right thing being confidence enough to defend yourself can still makes you win point. I love tosin for that.
That's not completely true. Sentiment aside, viewing the show, I could tell that her confidence was getting the best of her, and there's actually a thin line between confidence and overconfidence. Confidence is awesome but being overconfident can be a challenge and it's super easy and subtle to switch sides. For Tosin, she's doing great, she just needs to actually tone it down a bit. She got this nonetheless!

Beyond creativity and knowledge about the art of culinary, there is a place of putting one's warmth into it. Tosin cooks to win at all cost while Cla J still adds a bit of warmth into it... @@akinropoopeyemi894cla J’s food was nice she didn’t make egusi soup she made Ijebu Egusi and the only remark she got was that it wasn’t watery ..Ijebu Egusi is usually water not dried like the normal one …I believe the judges tasted all food and they won’t intentionally put Tosin below..Cooking okro and stew with fish especially needs pepper which was what they recommended for her ..for someone like me I can’t even eat it ,I barely eat fish outside eating fish without pepper I will throw up.She should just take their feed back and do better .I like her confidence.

Exactly my opinion too, how can Tosin be at bottom 4 😮😂😂 Cla J didn’t deserve to be the winner of today’s challenge cos the egusi isn’t giving atall.
My other opinion maybe because she's Yoruba and the task is a Yoruba dish 🤷

@@akinropoopeyemi894cla J’s food was nice she didn’t make egusi soup she made Ijebu Egusi and the only remark she got was that it wasn’t watery ..Ijebu Egusi is usually water not dried like the normal one …I believe the judges tasted all food and they won’t intentionally put Tosin below..Cooking okro and stew with fish especially needs pepper which was what they recommended for her ..for someone like me I can’t even eat it ,I barely eat fish outside eating fish without pepper I will throw up.She should just take their feed back and do better .I like her confidence.
