  • So I've decided that I want to re-do ALL of my old Banshees covers. They're 5-6yrs old now - and now that I'm using better software, amp sims, a better computer, and a better camera - I think that it would just be cool to re--do them. And I have greatly improved at getting a "good" McGeoch tone. So I think that will help make my new videos better.
    I decided to record "Cascade" today. This song is one of my favorite Siouxsie & The Banshees songs. And it's one of my favorite guitar tracks of John's.
    Anyways, be on the lookout for more S&TB covers coming to this space soon!

    These McGeoch parts always seem quite sparse when looked at in isolation, but linking them up cleanly is FUCK8NG hard! Well done!

      I played through Logic Pro X using Amplitude 5.
      These are roughly the settings I used.
      Pedals: Flanger, chorus, delay, compressor.
      Amp: Roland JC200 amp simulator
      Mics: Shure SM57
