You’re completely right about the tracking speed. High tracking speed is for when you’re recording a noisier signal (i.e non-treated room or background noise) & low speed is for when you’re recording a much cleaner signal. You got it perfectly 😁

Tracking is how picky the autotune is on recognizing notes. Go for bigger numbers for a noisy signal like live vocals on a stage and smaller number for studio recorded vocals. Studio vocals are good anywhere from 50 to 25. Over 50 or under 25 wont end up sounding good usually.

with auto key, it defaults to c minor if ur not playing the beat while its searching. Obviously u also have to have the beat in the same insert too
