- Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself this one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" And because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally say goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.

Many said if I go beyond this point it'll be even more beautiful. Next time when i come I'll do the whole loop

Totally recommend this place. Now you can fly from Bangkok to Savannakhet and then take the bus from there, only 2.5 hrs by van. Before you could only get there from Vientiane or Pakse
Tte cave absolutely splendid and magnificent place. Enjoying the natural sound of nature from your video very surreal experience from where l am. with eyes closed! Its almost like i transported to this place.

Tam Nang Aen is by far the most beautiful cave I've seen.

There are a few guesthouses in the centre. All are affordable.
I stayed at the hostel. They also have private rooms.
