Lack of Dan heng voiced as i started 2.7 story made me close the game and not reopen it until 3.0, where it was discovered it still havent bedn fixed. just switched to Japanese.
Yes, especially if the character/s has many voice lines on a quest. It's not much of a problem for Genshin last Archon quest. However, HSR 3.0 main story quest with Dan Heng being mute, breaks the immersion and experience for me and he has many lines on this specific quest.
Nahida being mute in the Suberuz event of Genshin was a real problem because some of the captions couldn't be read over a bright background. This was no minor event either. The whole experience felt diminished.
Yes! When I saw that so many chars are not voiced in Lantern Rite, I switched back to Japanese voiceover. If I have to read anyways , I might as well enjoy the voiced characters. It’s so annoying to have some chars voiced and some not, even old ones like Zhongli
I hope this wont change VAs for my fav HSR characters (obv Himeko is my number one that had no voice for last few patches) if they do I might actualy drop the game, but anyway thats good they decided to change studio
Which should've been resolved long ago. They can't always dodge the bullet by saying they have nothing to do with the strike! this is the competition we need. They see Wuwa starting to dominate so they have to take action. We need more of this.
It was legit disjointing when you’d hear 2 voices and then the 3rd chimes in and you wonder if the game bugged. But then you figure out oh his voice isn’t in there
im 100% sure they do use ai text to speech sometimes.. cuz in zzz there was this event where there was a special cutscene dialogue with yanagi.. first i thought shes sounding lil too robotic than usual.. thought okay mayb they ddnt paid too much attention to it.. but then there was this one dialogue where it had spell mistake.. and she spoke that with same mistake.. like its possible to make mistakes in subtitles.. but same mistake following in va?? now thats 100% ai lmao
If it was WuWa they could've already given us 50+ pulls for the Voice inconvenience. Everyone when you complete the survey please mention about the compensation.
It's good that Hoyoverse did everything they could to fix this ongoing problem, but I'm afraid the damage has been done. Three major limited time events, including Lantern Rite, have been/will be impacted by the missing voices, and Hu Tao's Lantern Rite absence is most sorely felt - being a fan favorite character in one of her most important moments in the story. I don't see how Genshin doesn't take a hit to their English-speaking playerbase. It isn't fair to Hoyo, but it is what it is. Formosa should be ashamed for allowing this to happen.
i dont buy it until i hear them , also thats not enough how about we make the game great , how about that first instead of voice we focus on gameplay i can mute the game and listen to my music if the gameplay was good atleast
Lmao, I did just this. I turned off music and voices for an entire day, and I suddenly felt like I was playing a cheap copy of breath of the wild. Even combat feels off without the music. Crazy how much the music carries the entire genshin experience, damn.
They're trying to collect voice databanks for their AI They've already gathered plenty from the EN side time to divert to EU for accents to feed into their AI
Funny is that they laugh at Wuwa's VA performance at version 1.0, and now they are/will be hearing the same cast for future Genshin characters. Wuwa's VA are amazing, but they were held down by the voice direction, especially with the accents.
@@onelasada1707 What do you mean willing to hear the same cast? It's not like the community could decide to which studio for their localization Genshin goes to. Not saying it's bad it's just a very weird perspective of things. Not to mention they'd obviously choose a studio that is not affected by the Sag Aftra strike thus this studio seems the fitting choice. Although it's of course ironic indeed that Genshin and Wuwa now have the same Voice Studio 😂
@@onelasada1707 the problem is not the VAs but the bad voice direction. I do appreciate studios who let actors go all out, like that one NPC in Amphoreus which overshadows even the main casts lmao 😂
Did anyone really care at this point if Hoyo keep failing with their games and updates despite making bazillions of empty content and dry patch(and boring archon of "WAR"(which NEVER happened)😅
Has no voice Actors affected you Gameplay?!

The fact that they did so well with Citlali is proof they did the right thing changing studios
The VA I think deserves a lot of the credit. She's clearly experienced with this kind of work.
now the devs are gonna call it an improvement to the game
I mean they didn't, if not they would have mentioned it in the livestream and I think there shouldn't be any more dev livestreams until 6.0
They didn't listen, they were forced to that's different 🤣

What do you mean, they listened? 😂. They fixed an existing problem. What is there to “listen”?? 😂😂😂😂

Thank goodness, Im over missing voices
i like how they do the live stream but it is mostly cuz it is faster now

The "Glue" that Hoyo needs.
They'll be going the Text-to-speech AI route 😂

If VAs aren't full of busy assignment or resting free time or can't have trillion dialogue lines
Now we wait 'till most of Wuwa VAs ended their contract suddenly to be exclusive to hoyo. Yay!

Nobody talk about this because its a positive about hoyo. Reading the comments says alot
This once again proved that Hoyoverse is doing their best to let people know that the OG always better.

NOT ACTUALLY
but FINALLY..
after 3 patches

Do you mean Formosa? I'm not sure they would risk it. They've already ruined their reputation, they don't want legal trouble on top of that.
Yep hoyoshills are soon going to enjoy Yinlin's voice in their game 😂

@@ouroboros6738 as i stated, and i really do hope that they let them speak on their natural accents. diverse accents make the games more immersive.
They need to do the same for Honkai Star Rail
I read this news before watching this video. I hope that some characters are recast with UK voice actors.

We do so keep in your lane.
sounds like a hater to me... if the games that awful to you, why are you watching videos about them??
crybaby alert
Someone clear didn't do the 5.1 Archon quest lmao.
careful with the hate. too much and genshin might just become the "underrated" game
You need a VA too. jk
Listened trash talks
