    how if we do complete cut in single time indexing ? two or even three times indexing (one for notching) is very not productive

      Thank you for your comment Steam Engine. Normally, in machining cut, there are two cuts that we must apply, the roughing and finishing cuts, but this also depends on the allowance or excess material on the workpiece and this is what im trying to give emphasis in order for the students or new learners in the machine shop/machining works learn and practice the safer and more accurate method. Machining the workpiece in just one cut(ROUGHING) is also possible especially when the rigidity of the machine, the cutting tool and the work is excellent and when accuracy and surface finish required are not so important, in other words, quantity is more important than quality.     Good day Sir may itatanong po aq about sa Lathe paano mag set up sa Gearbox kung ang gawin kung thread 16G

      Hi, simple lang, hanapin mo ung 16 sa inch threads na nasa plate ng lathe. Icheck mo ang vertical at horizontal columns na katapat ng 16 para sa numbers or letters at don mo iset ang knob lever or spin type lever sa quick change gear box. Panoorin mo din yong video ko na Setting up the Lathe for Cutting 60° Threads. Thank you and Happy new year!

      Pwedeng pwede Angelo. kaya ko nga binagalan ang feed rate para sa finishing cut pero diko na inin crease ang spindle speed dahil sa low quality ang material ng gamit kong gear cutter. So isa rin ito sa mga factors na isaalang alang natin sa roughing and finishing cuts.
