It’s really hard out here. Personally I’ve done a lot of research and put in much effort in learning far beyond just posting on social media. I know a little bit of SEO, content marketing and beginner CRM. I definitely know my worth, that’s why sometimes I just don’t take on some gigs. Also, most brands here in Uganda aren’t fond of influencer marketing that’s why they pay peanuts, and because influencers need the money, they take it. I believe you’re in a much better bargaining place as an influencer if you have more mediums/platforms that give a lot more value such as written blog posts or RUclips videos, and that’s what I’m doing.
@@JoyAkatukunda the number one thing I tell people who I give gigs or recommend is Learn to say NO if it isn't the right price. I also always ask them to always have analytics backing their work
