Hi! Good study on Rajkot. I stayed at Rajkot for more than 15 years. So based on my experience, City population is 20-25 Lakh Routes you suggested seems viable, but with some area's re-route to cater better catchment areas. Rajkot is not public transport loving city. Even city buses, BRTS are not utilised it's potential. Thanks for the video

I have visited Rajkot, but not sure if the city is large or congested enough for a metro. My opinion is: Most of the city has narrow lanes and how mass rapid transit would work there is doubtful. Constructing metro is a good thing but care should be taken that it should not be a white elephant like Jaipur metro or Mumbai Monorail and public money is spent without any real gains.
100% right...Jaipur metro is Definitely a white elephant. Even in Ahmedabad the running route of metro between Aperal park and vastral gam has almost zero occupancy. What I thought for metro to become successful , city must have population more than 40 lacks.
Make videos on Delhi NCR ,it is a good topic as it has rrts ,metro ,metrolite ,bus rapit transit and and leave your suggestion for the development of public transportation in NCR
Rajkot is getting a new airport,i googled our population,the district population comes about 40 lakh,the city population comes about 18-20 lakh, let's hope for the best,buses are running but brts route is very limited, Rikshaw walas are mad, drive worse&charge what they want, meanwhile a metro/more brts coverage will help us,metro might not ne feasible, something like sky train/light trails/metro light can work

So whether BJP ar not doesn't matter,it's the interest. Centre is always interested,but problem is with the state. Even if centre was not interested state can push the interest. But more than that, the traffic regulations are not proper,no one follows rules,the signals are there but they're not implemented,people get into one ways where there cameras or no cameras
