4G LTE is still great in 2024-2025 4G LTE phone's have great battery 🔋 life cost less than 5G phone's, both 4G LTE and 5G, I have used T-Mobile network and Verizon Wireless network both great At&t AT&t network is horrible in my area I have used AT&t prepaid and cricket wireless data speed super slow, Verizon wireless in T-Mobile networks are the best in my area

Even the best sucks. 4g was reliable but doesn't have the peak rate. 5g is extremely unreliable but when it's good it's great. This does not seem to be improving. I don't think proliferating 5g is going to make it more reliable. It's just going to offer the same unreliable 5g to more places and maybe improve peak performance. But ITS NOT CONSISTENT!!!

AT&T has 5G+ in my area Northeast Massillon ohio it's blazing fast , t mobile and Verizon suck in my area
Should test on mmwave
Total I switched from T-Mobile to total wireless because of the very poor phone calls and data performance including LTE/5G in my home.
My new download speeds approx 10 times faster than T-Mobile and LTE approx 5 times faster. Phone call quality is excellent. No more dropped calls.
Highest 5G download speed today was 810 mbps and highest LTE speed was 175 mbps.
All if this depends how close is the nearest cell tower and cellular traffic
I can sometimes pull over 900mbit on 5GUW with verizon if I'm outside in Houston, TX
Yo good video. It's strange sometimes LTE out performs 5G on At&t mvnos in my city. Not drastic but for sure shows on uplink for me.

Great content. Really good point to highlight. I imagine the difference or lack there of, of actual throughput vs speed tests and in browsing and downloading occurs all the time. I enjoy speed tests as much as the next guy but this is as real world as it gets. When Verizon typically wins 5G video experience from all of the quarterly testing vendors, I imagine this is why. Speeds tests aren’t as high, but the actual loading of video content or FaceTime likely performs better than the other guys.
