Like the way I do? ... Melissa NO ONE can rock like the way you do. This IS the worlds greatest rock performance. From the first chord to the last word your performance is totally captivating. I've watched this video at least 50 times and each time I watch it I can't stop myself getting caught up in your total submission to your passion. This video is the REAL Melissa. You only ever show it when you are lost in what you are doing.

pegabriel61, I was around, then. But, in SF. Heard her sing in the bars, but only on the jukebox, until the mid 1980s. Went to see her, in concert as often as possible, after that. Gotta say, I’m so jealous that you got to meet her, in person, backstage, at one of her awesome concerts. I hate you. JK.

I love the audiences of Melissa's in the Netherlands and Germany. They are responsive, intelligent and appreciative, and Melissa's performances are even more energised as a result, well done Netherlands.
I first saw her in 1988 and was so rocked by this song - she is incredible - amazing, talented - words don't do her justice. I've been lucky enough to continue to see her through the decades and she just gets better and better

Melissa Etheridge. This is the woman I respect most in the world of Rock n Roll. She is the Real Deal. A guitarist (and boy do I love a good guitar riff!) and a husky voice that actually does justice to the late Janis Joplin's "Piece Of My Heart." All that, and she's Out and Proud, and I respect her for having the courage to do that.

Melissa is not performing, she's giving of her heart, soul and passion. What she is doing is immersing herself in her music and in doing so is carrying us along with her. It's journey I have taken many times with Melissa and I give thanks to her for sharing her journey with me.

WHEW HEW!!!! I'm on my feet!!!!! Man she is still this awesome. I'd say even a better performer now. (If that is possible!) She so rox my world and has since the mid 80's. I love this tune as much now as then. How can she still make her fans feel that way about a tune and not change it totally? This is so similar to the way it is still done. Melissa you are timeless. This video is a gem with a ruff end and I can't even say that I care.
