That's exactly what I'm doing. I ordered the mint green one.
I have this set & I love them! I used the paint that was on the lids to swatch with, so it wouldn't be wasted. I also use Glad Press'n Seal on top of the paints, then snap the lid on top. In the hopes it'll keep them wet & pudding-like longer. Really love the vibrancy & smooth texture. This is my first experience with gouache, so I still need to try the more traditional kind. Thanks for the video, love the cow!
I have watched many reviews of this set. Some people add water to keep their paints wet. And at least one lets them dry out, and prefers them that way.
There was so much paint on each lid. You could have used that to swatch with. I suppose as inexpensive as they were and how much paint you get, it doesn't really matter

The problem is...i dont know what paper im going to use with this..can you recommend
Use the same paper as you would with watercolor.
Would you recommend this to someone if they already have Reeves gouache?
JazzyArt 22 I never used Reeves Gouache, But I can say that Himi Gouache is really good student grade Gouache to start with but if you believe it’s a right time for you to spend money on professional Gouache then go for professional one. But if you just want to get a set which is more convenient and easy to use rather than squeezing paints from tubes I would recommend this set. So pretty and cute set and very affordable.
