Used the song in my campain last week and managed to sync it perfectly to when the pirate ship fired into a fort behind party having a bossfight... its glorious part of the song.

As someone who got all the Pirates of the Aetherial Expanse Fables, will this Setting Guide have any updated lore or mechanics the GM or players would want or need?
Yes, absolutely there'll be new stuff in there for both players and GMs, such as new subclasses that are tied to the Aetherial Expanse or ones of its connecting planes (Karelagne and Ayris). We're also introducing Ghostfire's heritage system for choosing your starting traits in a freeform manner to create any sort of character you like. This will include traits for the astral merfolk and astral emergent. We are expanding the lore as well.
This isn't an exhaustive list of the new content, but just some of what we can reveal pre-Kickstarter.

I am really hoping the setting guide has some city maps, the one offered in the Fable was sooo beautiful that I wished they had some more for the other pirate towns.

For those who pre-ordered it there is for download a v1.0 In your download section.
It would have been great if whe got a email to be aware of the download. I found it just becouse I wanted to cancel my order becouse it was made almost a year ago without any update or a release date in plan. It's a good book but I don't think is that hard to copy paste the mails of those who preorder it then and send a mail with something like The V1. 0 is now avaible for download.

i plan to try and merge the two. OLD spelljammer tho. only new spelljammer that will make it in will be some of the updated stat blocks. i love the old setting with the rainbow flow of the phlogiston and crystal spheres. also cant beat the treasure planet style flying caravels and such.

@@johnnybrown4528 gonna hafta wait to get my copy of ghostfires stuff to see the details about the how, but the plan is to create a custom universe for campaigns using ideas and concepts from both settings as guides, inspiration and above all, mechanics. because thats where i struggle most. and why new spelljammer was so dissapointing. stat blocks are good. flavor text is nice(when its not garbage). but what i need is how to run manuvers and combat in a 3D space with vehicals. avernus helped some, but not quite enough for what i need and it still doesnt feel quite right.
