You won't ever be able to see details on Jupiter with just your phone camera. I've tried on the s23 ultra and nothing. You need a small telescope to even barely see the proper colors of Jupiter.

Let’s say the lens was this wide in my pov------------ Jupiter was this wide fully focused -------- I wish I took a picture, it was as big as the James Webb space telescope image but a little smaller
if he tried to focus it it would take way too long and wouldn’t work. The reason you can focus on the moon is because it’s only 1.3 light seconds away and your phone emits waves to the moon when you tap it and when the waves come back it processes how far away it is and focuses. Jupiter is a few light minutes away, so this wouldn’t work

There’s only one hour of the day at my place where there isn’t much light pollution and I can see a couple nice stars, It really annoys me the fact that people who lived before the modern age saw the galaxy when they look up, but not us unless you go to a deserted place.

It’s been tested, someone took a phone and put a white circle on the screen, the phone took it as the moon and displayed the craters and features of the moon

Depending on your phone I'll say 100-500 you can get a good telescope for those prices

This is not true…Jupiter is very much visible to the naked eye on certain nights and can be very very bright.
