- It is pretty subtle, but your non-playing arm isn't just dangling next to you for no reason. Here's how you can use it to your advantage.

You could maybe even say that my arm is a little bit too high, which is something some coaches of mine already had remarks on. I guess this video is a case of "do what I say, not what I do".

Can you make a video about pressure points in the grip during forehand. There's much discussion between pinch grip (Index and Thumb) vs ring finger etc... Many Thanks. Keep doing these great videos.
I can try, but I can honestly say that I've never heard those words in my life. It sounds to me that some coaches want to overcomplicate forearm + wrist acceleration with fancy sounding words and strange details to focus on. Again, never in my life have I heard that I have to concentrate on my ring finger.
I will be making a video on correct arm + wrist acceleration over time, but let me just say for now that you have to be relaxed enough so that you can do those things. If there is too much tension, in your arm or hand, you will play too stiff.
If you get a correct feeling by saying to yourself that you should focus on your 'pinch grip', then please keep doing so. It just sounds like something weird to me and I've never heard anyone talk about it, both players and coaches. That's all I'm saying.
Btw I get that there is some discussion about the function of your thumb (on rubber or not) and index finger (e.g. Alexis Lebrun who often has it quite high on the racket), so maybe it's just a language issue...
I love the videos, also i like your humor mixed into it. Keep hitting Luk!
That last one is a no-brainer, don't worry.
Interesting insight, thanks!
some videos on the backhand loop would be nice.
great topic!! again!
Wow this is a great help!❤
Great video, was literally just watching my own replays the other day and wondering what I should do with my free arm
Bro you are hilarious. Keep it up!
Nice. Quick and get to the point. Love it.
Thanks!
always amazing, thanks!
guiding with the other shoulder/arm, this is something I never heard about before, thank you again!
thanks this is very important point ... can you talk about the grip of racket with index finger and thump
Cool video, never even thought about second arm/shoulder...😂😂
Gonna try to think on it next time and see if i can adjust something.
leuke video olav
I am from Russia, i see many channel about table tennis, this is channel is best) my backhand topspin often fly out the table, how make backhand topspin low
Can you make video about wrist and finger movement on different elements, Also about grip? How i can eliminate sidespin when i do on forehand topspin
Make more video
I definitely do this and my coach tells me "more shoulder rotation". I will try thinking more about my right arm when i play on Tuesday (I'm lefty also), thanks.
I think we mean the same thing, but to me it works better if you think of the arm as the rotator. It's also about what works best for you to get the desired result...
@OlavKTTT, thanks a lot for the video. May I know what should my non dominate hand do when I am doing forehand/backhand drive?
To me, the hand can do what it wants.

can you recommend tactics against someone who is strong at looping from both the forehand and backhand side.
More training)))) and you can use fast long push after bounce or long push with spin, play on his elbow) you must to force your opponent more move
Top women seem to be using their "other arm" quite differently from men, holding it up all the time (for balance?). Can you comment?
Honestly, and this is by no means sexist, but men's and women's table tennis sometimes feels like a completely different sport. If you look at how for example Ito Mima plays, it just looks like her technique is absolutely horrible. But that's from my perspective, because in men's table tennis you need longer swings because we often play not so close to the table.
I also don't follow women's table tennis at all so I can't really give any advice on questions like that, just because I don't know enough.
