The size it gives out is beyond awesome for a budget projector unfortunately They lowered the price because they are trying to get rid of them because they are not a good product. Mine came with Dim led light asked for a replacement and got the same issue. my roommate also got one and had to return it because it was really blurry asked for a replacement and got a better one but with a dim light.
pros beautiful big screen out of a $100 mini projector cons dim bulb or light and it gets dirty really fast and it's a hassle to clean.
Hey does it work without wifi connection? I only have mobile data, could I make it work?
Hi Sam! Sorry I missed your message. Yes it does! You can either use the mirror setting via phone (just remember it’s not licensed for Netflix, Hulu, etc). So if you want to use Hulu or Netflix and such, you’d have to have a streaming device and would have to hotspot it to your phone. I hope this helped!

@@samueldesbois3632it should. It worked when I shared my screen with it on my iPhone. But to be frank, I did have it connected to my WiFi. So I’m not sure if you can hotspot and airplay at the same time?

My shits in Russian and can’t even reset it … don’t buy
I've had to return 2 of these now. They look great both physically and on the screen, but one had dead pixels and the other had a chip on the projection glass creating a clear black dot on the middle of the screen. There also seems to be a weird software issue when you zoom that makes it real difficult to see the menu's. This issue occurred on both projectors I received. I don't think I'll try my luck a 3rd time.
Oh no I'm sorry Lacey.... I hate you had a bad experience. I haven't had any issues with mine, the only thing I had issues with wad the setup because I just didn't read any instructions haha. Were you able to find a projector you liked??
Its a hy300 projector. They just put their name on it. Also hy300 projector interface looks very clean

Quick question.. at 1:20 in your video the projector doesn’t seem to align horizontally. Even the manual correction is meant for vertical shifts so how to fix the horizontal alignment?
Good question! Let me check that out, I think you’d have to re-keystone in settings. It would most likely be the adjust I did right before 1:20.
it seems this is a 720p projector, even so the product page on their website says 1080p supported, that is just for the input.... i would not trust this company.... if you download the manual you will see it says 720p.... looks like a nice projector but i don't like lies .

Thank you mate 🙏🏼! I used it for maybe around a hour and a half or so. Gets warm but I wouldn’t say super hot. Now if it’s summer and it’s in the direct sun I can see how it would get hot 😅

Thank you! I wish you could... it's not licensed to have those apps on it. Buttttt, the way around that is a firestick, roku or a streaming type device that you can HDMI into the back of it. Then it bypasses the licensing.
Can I use this via Bluetooth with my laptop or do I have to use the hdmi????

you can cast youtube from your phone but netflix isnt working for me so id suggest connecting a roku to the projector and use netflix like that

Hi! I'll add another video for you. Short answer is yes for Roku, it does work well with Airplay! You have to make sure to use a FireStick or Roku though since it is not licensed with Hulu, Netflix, etc.

We have just bought this and the volume is really low. We connected our Amazon stick. Can you control the volume using the Amazon fire stick do you know? We can’t seem to get it to work.
Do you have the remote that came with it?
Yes and we have turned it up to the max using the projector remote however the amazon stick remote will not adjust the volume. We have found the maximum volume really low. Wondered if you had the same experience or maybe if there a setting I should adjust?

- When projecting from a table to a high wall, how is the focus/blurriness. In some other pojectors I noticed that the focus was fine in the middle but worse on the top and bottom edges, is it same for this one?
- Secondly can we adjust the focus and keystone manually too as an option?
Hey Nazeef! Anytime and thank you for the support :) Good question, it’s manual focus. There is a turn notch at the top where you can adjust the focus to your liking.
It may be do to the angle I have it at or the surface of my walls. If you use a projector sheet or a flat surface I don’t see there being an issue :)
I’m 90% sure there is a manual option to change the keystone. I didn’t dabble in that. But I can try and look into it :) the keystone works pretty well though I’ll say.

I just bought this but the image / aspect ratio is squared, even though the ratio is 16:9....the 4:3 ratio is even worse....the distance to the wall is about 2 metres so this should be the issue.....really weird....i have fumbled with the settings but no luck....any help?
Hy, thank you very much for your review. I had a question. I saw in your video that you connected a fireTV stick and used the USB port for power. I also have the same setup as you, but when I turn on the firetv it starts initially but then shuts down and then restarts and this repeats continuously. Firetv works properly with its charger, but not when connected to the USB port.
Does everything work fine with you? Do you have an idea how to solve my problem? Thanks!
There are multiple versions of the fire sticks. I suspect an older basic model would be powered through the device, but a higher spec one will need independent supply
