Ding Hui - The Rise and Fall of a Long Hair Princess

Because of her elegant body proportions, her beautiful face, her eloquence and last but not least her unbelievably gorgeous super long hair Ding Hui was sort of a beauty icon in the early 2000s in China.
She appeared on interviews and long hair festivals and was the prototype of a long hair princess.
In the first section of the video she does an interview, and it is easy to see how proud she was of her thick, healthy, over two meter long braid.
In 2009, Ding Hui did a last photo shoot. Her hair was longer than ever and in awesome condition, but Ding Hui allowed a hairdresser to come near to her and cut her giant ponytail she had been so proud of for many, many years.
She let the hairdresser cut it extremely short, hardly a bob, and it is obvious from the second part of the video how this procedure left Ding Hui looking at least 10 years older than before her haircut.
