    Full on gamer changer, adding a Hiro's Swivel seat.
    I love it! I was on a waitlist and was stoked to finally get one. I got the Passenger side. It really adds even more verstility to the already extremely vestile Element.

      Thanks for your feedback Sunny! The passenger side is so dope! Even more room for activity’s.

    I think they're the best idea. You could also make a bench style table to fit the back and you and friends of family would be like you're in a booth to eat or great for games nights too.

      I definitely hope to do exactly that once my khaki element is up and running going under the knife this Monday! Hope you’re having fun down under.

      @@StephenAldaco went away camping last weekend for my birthday. Stayed in the back of my xtrail and did some hiking and swimming in dams. Had fun but I tell ya now, I couldve done with a couple of these swivel seats. Haha.

    I would love to get at least one, they seem awesome. It is such a nice upgrade, I would say it seems basically "essential". So much that it clearly should've been designed that way from the factory. Such a great idea and design, kind of an oversight by Honda in my opinion.
    I have Hiro's swivel seats on my wish list, but they're fairly expensive for me personally when factoring in the shipping and customs fees, and then converted to the poor Canadian dollar on top of that.
    I might even have to pick them up in person if I'm ever around the area.

      Yeah if you have the option to drive on down that’s a good option! I bet they didn’t offer it due to safety standards or something because there was a brief moment where they did offer it for the CRV. Hope you get one soon friend thanks for watching.

    I've got one installed on my 2011 passenger seat, it's pretty sweet! Install was a quite the process. I'd suggest Hiro's include some detailed written instructions, constantly referencing the 8 min video was a pain but I've got a patient spouse who helped figure it all out. The console on my 2011 is different than Hiro's video, I didn't cut it, just manually remove/reinstall it when needed without issue. Overall it's a great product and opens up the inside immensely.

      Awesome thanks for sharing your feedback! I took mine to a local install honestly worth the price for me. Glad to see you didn’t have to cut your center console!

    Hi Stephen, Do you know if Hiro’s swivel seat can also work with the Ford F-150 Center Console modification that some folks add to their Element?? I have neither yet, but was strongly interested in doing the center console mod on my 2006 E, AND of course would totally LOVE to add the Hiro’s seat upgrade some day! Thanks for the informative video. 👍🏼

      Hey! I can’t say for 100% but I’ve seen the console and it takes up a lot of the space where the chair would normally swivel. Hopefully someone who has tried it before can chime in and let us know. You’re very welcome thanks for watching!

    if one could adjust the recline fully - like a livingroom recliner - I'd think about buying it! Sadly, it looks kinda limited due to the steering wheel. The issue with raising the seat is also an issue since I have long legs and my seat is all the way down and it's still not low enough for my liking.

    • @StephenAldaco
      @StephenAldaco  7 месяцев назад +2

      If you do the passenger side swivel there is more space & you can still slide the seat forward to have a bit more reclining. Thanks for the feedback!

  • @wichovr6

    Did you do both seats? If you had to choose one which side would you do?

    • @StephenAldaco
      @StephenAldaco  4 месяца назад

      I would do passenger seat because it gives more legroom.

    Your backdrop looks like somewhere near O'Neill Park. My friends and I used to go camping in Trabuco Canyon back in the '60's. the campgrounds were eventually removed due to vandalism. p.s. wondering if Hiro's might make a swivel seat for the Gen. 2 CR-V?

    • @StephenAldaco
      @StephenAldaco  7 месяцев назад +1

      I’m sure if there is enough demand he would make one for gen 2! Hit him up and ask!

    Question.... can the swivel operate with the door fully closed? Or must the door be open to swivel the seat?

    Definitely on my wish list! How much does installation cost... or did you do it yourself?

    • @StephenAldaco
      @StephenAldaco  7 месяцев назад +1

      I paid $250 for install. Figured it would take me a few hours so it was worth it.

    Would be great, except at 6'2" the extra height its a deterrent. Damned shame!
