I've seen a couple of videos with Circassian dance and I absolutely love it. In its way it is a very graceful dance style. Although the bodies of the dancers are almost stiff, the women soften this by their beautiful flowing hand moves. Also I find it majestic, because the dancers do not touch each other, but they are still dancing together, it's just that everyone has their own space. Some may find this dance style minimalistic, but it is very unique and absolutely beautiful. The music tops it all.
I will agree, yet, and I could be wrong, I recall reading the long, long ago they were active in having slaves or other mean things of conquest. They expanded westward. But then is not now and now I view these dances as full of grace. Even with the somewhat casual wear/ware in the video. Long dresses make the ladies move like on roller skates.
@@cliffontheroad having slaves?? tf u talking abt ? Circassian girls sold as slaves to palace by African slave traders. They kidnapped lots of Circassian girls when Circassian lands invaded by Russia. They were not even free let alone having slaves.
Dancers you are seeing in here are members of the Circassian folk dance group Kabardinka. What you are seeing on the wall is those same dancers performing this same dance while wearing traditional costumes as part of a Kabardinka performsnce .

This is a video of my favourite Circassian dance "Kafa" performed by "Kabardinka" in case you want to analyse it, I'm pretty sure you're gonna like it: ruclips.net/video/Nl9uWRu0fo4/видео.html
Muchas gracias por tu video , la verdad yo estaba buscando lo mas explicito para poder entender este hermoso baile y tu haz sido el único que me ha dado lo que yo buscaba
bigger venue, more people and more dances. (vs 6 in an alley) so maybe you are right they inquire how many will fit on the floor, OR more money was available to hire more. Research has, or will, explain the the women do not dance as actively. Recently, this is evolving, giving them more freedom. Still true about the formal dress with the protruding butt (nice) and an ample upper half. Been a long time since attending anything formal.
Sorry I have been gone from youtube for awhile. If I recall, the dresses in this video were store bought. All of the other videos I saw, would have been created for the performance by professional designers/seamstresses. Very expensive.
with a little research, you could have found out (rather than believe) that this dance is not from Turkey.... it is a Georgian Dance, to be more amazed, watch the Original Kabardinka: ruclips.net/video/hjt1fHHzsVs/видео.html

Literally said that in the beginning.
It's not Turkey, neither Georgian. Its circassian dance from their culture, and its mentioned in the title...
